I like the first one, and, naturally, I really liked the gun control one.
===============================================
I can’t BELIEVE there’s not more attention being paid to the Gun Control Bills on the docket-if those are voted through, the guns of Americans will be largely outlawed, thus, there goes our chance to fight a Tyrannical Government. The only options will be to sit on our politically correct hands until, MAYBE, we get OUR President back in 2024, to restore our Right to own our Guns, or resort to Guerilla-Warfare to fight for America. Congress, again, proved how WORTHLESS they are when it comes to our Rights, and our Senate could very well be swirling down the same Toilet bowl if the Conservatives and SOME Liberals don’t grow a pair and vote Gun Control DOWN. Hidin’ Biden has already said he’d use an EO to enact it -f it’s voted down, so I’m not sure if we have any options open to us, but personally, I think Constitutional Disobedience will be the rule. That Gun Control is, as is ANY Gun Control Legislation, Unconstitutional. As such, I refuse to honor ANY Law put in place to infringe on MY RIGHT.
Okay-Rant is over-the Soapbox it yours….

And exactly who is going to take 400 million guns away? The military after Soldiers are sleeping on parking garage floors and being given waaaay substandard food, homeless vets number about 40,000, while illegal aliens are put up in hotels?

DAH! So agree! How many people are gonna be spared fr the Fed-patrol to peep into my windows to see black powder weapons, antiques, like my grandfather’s shotgun he carved the stock for–for the gun passed down to him from HIS grandfather……OR my great-grandmother’s petite late 1800’s Winchester she bought used for $6 in 1906 that kept the family in local PA venison supply early on & then through slim Depression years …OR…the black powder replica kit Kentucky Rifle I built for my husband in our early marriage ( I was a metals concentration inside my 2 art degrees–for me…gunsmithing IS ART).

Besides all that…it’s NOT just guns they are coming for …it’s your ammo. What good are guns you can hang onto if you can’t manufacture or buy ammo? In CA, that’s been the big rub. Just like British at dawn of Revolutionary War…British Common Law required ea male subject be able/ready to defend the Crown w/his own gun/ammunition (think, our own 2nd amendment AND our draft laws) When it became contrary to the Brits…they tried to circumvent their own laws by regulating/confiscating ammo. Opening volley at Lexington&Concord was b/c the British were marching to Lexington to seize AMMUNITION at the armory there. My other degree was in history (b/c I was told I could not make a living in art), & I ran away to art b/c no one knows history anymore, & it is not a priority in our school curricula today…it’s a “throw-away” course like science (ditto PE & electives). Only math & language arts “count.” Back to the point: “they” (Demorats) are coming for your guns, & if & when they can’t Constitutionally do that, they will limit/capture/destroy your ammunition. IMHO: learn how to to make your own. Daunting, but entirely possible.

Too bad the Roman civil engineers don’t build gym equipment, rather than “engineers” who have never taken classes in kinesiology and so don’t understand that people leverage points and machine leverage points aren’t the same.

Much food for thought.

Don’t blame it all on the Engineers. The Engineer presents a plan for a requested project and states the estimated cost. Then the managers say “We don’t have that much available. How much can you do for one-half of the cost?” The Engineer tells them how much can be done and then they say: “OK But do that for one-third of the original estimate.” Then the Engineer gets blamed for doing shoddy work. Been there – done that.

Love those crazy goats!

And, as a professional driver, I can sure appreciate a Roman road. I wish we had one!
