Ever have deer like this in your yard?

Rate this post

This video is from 2015 somewhere in Texas. We get lots of critters here in Oklahoma yet I’ve never experienced something like this!

Watch:

Such trusting creatures these deer are!

PS: The noise you hear in the background is those dang cicadas we have down here in the South.

I can’t even get to hand feed squirrels – I’m soooo jealous!

I have a 185 acres of forest behind my house and the deer come in and try to eat my garden. So my wife brought home a display model of a 7 ft tall Knight and I put it in the middle of the Garden and now no problems. My wife needs prayer from any one she can get she was attacked on Christmas day by our Dog he was asleep and she didn’t know and startled the dog and he snaped from her being their in his face he only bit her once he saw who it was.
That being said I thank and praise God that she didn’t lose an eye. He is a 90 lb Lab he jumped into her and almost bit her nose off and took part of her lip about a center-meter. He broke her nose and bruised her whole face. The tear went through to the inside of the nostril so they had to do surgery inside and out happened at 10:30 that morning and she didn’t get into surgery till 9:00 that night because of them holding her up for a covid test they wanted to put an 18 inch swab up that nose like it was.
Did not happen almost went to jail but got the surgeon to come in and do it with a 6 inch one so made her wait an hour and a half for that. I still praise God that he saved her eyes so any more prayer she could get would be appreciated.

That’s horrible – prayers sent to you & your wife!

And damn the hospital staff for delaying that urgent surgery for your wife, all because of a bogus test!

So sorry Brian and wife….can not believe an otherwise docile Lab did this, but OTOH, one of our beloved older Labs bit through my husband’s arm when he thought there was an intruder/disturbance on our property….but my husband’s arm was the first in the way of our Lab’s defense against it…..The intruder turned out to be an Oppossum….but too late for my husband and the old Lab to know at that instant…..

Thanks to everyone for the prayers she is doing better and she gets the outside stitches out Monday then a little more surgery inside and the Doc said she would be out of the woods.
The dog has been cow down he knew he did wrong and has been on his best behavior since he begs here to touch him or look at him.
Took him to the vet to see if there were any issues he said no that he didn’t see any problems so we conclude that he was just startled and just bit in defense.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Praise God for all we have for with out him just think of the consequences we would live in.

Why is she feeding bread to deer? That’s not part of their normal diet.
