Archie Bunker was the voice of the people then….& voice of the people NOW…..thank you DCG. DO YOU THINK anyone left of center is within hearing distance? And, if so, do you think they hear AND understand the voice of the “little people,” like the Independents, the vast expanse betw coasts, or the disenchanted Dems from whom their party defected too far left…..or from new citizens who came here for the “American Dream” who expect MORE than the Democrat Plantation on the dole…..but expect opportunity, work, a chance to prove themselves capable & worthy/ vibrant/ able?? I fly my USA Flag every day 24/7 in front of my house in support of all that we are & all that we support & all that we can be in the future due to our Constitution & our laws….so long as they exist ….that is the caveat.

You know…I’ve checked again , & this was in the right place to post this, I think, w/DCG…..but forgive me if I’ m wrong. OMG …I had my Covid booster this weekend & I’m TRASHED. I tried to go back to work on Mon/ (teaching). & could not make the day through. Had to get period coverage b/c I was light-headed,., aching, sweating, & out of it. Went home & slept the clock (12 hrs) & much better now. I don’t even NORMALLY get even flu shots …but my husband is in a precarious health state w/age, variables & whatever…so I ve gotten the shots. He did, TOO ….b/c he had to b/f they’d give him needed surgeries ………he had NO shot reactions….I’ve had a TON of reactions in my “quest” to protect him. I guess I’d still do it…for the same reasons w/the same information given us at the time, (tho’ it might be erroneous) . But it’s not been an “easy” couple of Covid years for me for this & for my distance teaching experiences, where upon, I’ve had to prove my 2 vaccines to my district to keep teaching without suspension. My husband HAD to retire medically…and in the end, with a patch-work of different retirements through his years…he retired with exactly the same net as if he’d still been working. Unfortunately….if I retire now….I lose HALF of what I am earning….yet….we still have the same monthly bills…and now, with Biden…you can add 10% more monthly to food, gas, energy bills, any other things that services have to tack on inflation to…and rising…..So….I’m between that proverbial rock and a hard place.
