I had the opportunity to do something very similar with a Golden Retriever I rescued from a puppy mill. They had been over breeding her. When she came home with me, she had no idea what dog toys were, how to play, how to do typical dog things. I watched her, watch my other Goldie’s and as time moved on, she would slowly figure her way to becoming a wonderful dog. She was one of my most favorite Goldie’s and the day she passed was a real heart breaker … 💖💓💔💔
