The momma, Namine, was hit by a truck last and eventually recovered. Sadly, two pups from the litter did not survive. 🙁
But Namine still set a world record!

Everyone’s going to be really tired helping feed all of those sweet babies!
Does anyone here watch Dr. Pol? He’s the TV vet in Michigan, mid-70-yr-old, who has double my energy (and know-how). He loves and cares for his own Great Danes, which is all I pretty much know about Great Dane Dogs. When I was 12-13, I’d babysit for my next-door neighbors who had Great Danes. All I remember about them was that they thought they were “lap dogs” even at 100 lb. 🙂 I hope these puppies find loving, and LARGE, homes 🙂
