Hollyweird libtard partners with brand that promotes transgenders because she’s now concerned about “age-appropriate” products

More like her agent garnered her a fat paycheck to repeat their messaging…

Drew Barrymore kneeling before Dylan Mulvaney, a man living as a “transwoman.”

Hollyweird actress Drew Barrymore got into some hot water last year when she had transboy Dylan Mulvaney on her talk show. Drew received much criticism with a conservative noting, “Women are now getting on their hands and knees to show solidarity with a man who has lived as a woman for less than a year. Truly the sneakiest trick the patriarchy ever pulled.”

Drew has now partnered with Dove (owned by Unilever) to raise awareness of anti-aging skincare being marketed toward tweens.

Unilever has promoted transgenderism via many campaigns:

  • In 2017 Dover promoted #RealMoms by featuring a mom (aka man) who is transgender
  • In 2021 Unilever “took action” to focus on cities (as recommended by the Human Rights Campaign’s Municipality Equality Index) to, in part, create a more inclusive world
  • In 2022, as part of their “United We Stand” campaign, Unilever announced their fourth year of  “promoting systemic change” to fight anti-trans legislation

Now Dove (Unilever) has partnered with Drew Barrymore to “raise awareness of the anti-aging skincare trend that can foster premature appearance anxiety in young girls.”

Nevermind the message that men can become women; I guess that’s not confusing enough to give young girls anxiety. Behold the new messaging:

From People Magazine:

“Like many moms of tween and teens, Barrymore tells PEOPLE she’s having conversations about skincare at home with daughters Frankie, 9, and Olive, 11.

“They’re really into skincare because that’s really a lot of what they see and what their friends are into. So I’m just always trying to keep track of what products are age-appropriate and not too active for their skin,” Barrymore shares.

From her perspective, Barrymore is very conscious of “the mental gym and what’s inside our heads.”

“That, to me, is more important than what’s in our beauty routine. I think the things we tell ourselves inside our minds should remind us that beauty is for everyone. We can make sure the ingredients are age-appropriate, and the messages are really about the joy of it rather than worrying about anti-aging.”

“For me, beauty has always been about positive messaging at any age. I’m such a Dove girl, and they’re so ahead of the curve on talking about how we see ourselves versus how we think we should be seen, and the cause and effect of that. I think that’s a great responsibility that companies have, and I think Dove does it in a way that’s just so much more impactful.”

“…positive messaging and emotional and mental empowerment are so crucial. The messages always have to be about loving who you are, working with what you’ve got and having fun with it. It’s about being joyful and not in a scramble to be something different than who you are.”

Read the whole story here.

I’m sure Drew does not see the irony in partnering with Dove to promote “healthy messaging” to young girls while Dove’s partner company is promoting the mental gymnastics of gender dysphoria.

Way to teach young girls that “mental empowerment” is working with what you’ve got. Until you want to transition and never understand the cause and effect of having a mental disorder.

Idiot Hubris – Vladimir Putin Says Alaska Really Belongs To Russia

Putin shouts trying to look tough – and failing!

From  The Hill

By Miranda Nazzaro,

The State Department on Monday brushed off reports of Russian Presi ordering his government to look into the nation’s former “real estate” abroad, saying Alaska would be staying in American hands.

Putin signed a new decree last week to allocate funds for the research and registration of Russian property overseas, including that in former territories of the Russian Empire and Soviet Union, Russian state media TASS reported .

The decree, which comes amid Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine, did not specifically mention Alaska, though it caught the attention of military bloggers, who argued Putin was using the decree to declare the 1867 Russian sale of the Last Frontier State to the U.S. is illegal.

“Well, I think I can speak for all of us in the U.S. government to say that certainly he’s not getting it back,” State Department principal deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel said during a Monday press briefing , prompting laughter from his audience.

The Institute for the Study of War last week noted the “exact parameters of what constitutes current or historical Russia property are unclear.”

“The Kremlin may use the ‘protection’ of its claimed property in countries outside of its internationally recognized borders to forward soft power mechanisms in post-Soviet and neighboring states ultimately aimed at internal destabilization,” the institute wrote in an assessment of the Russian offensive campaign.

It pointed to a Telegram post from a military blogger who suggested Russia could start enacting the law in Alaska and parts of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Putin, in a 2014 question-and-answer with a studio audience, called the 1867 sale “inexpensive,” and argued people should “not get worked about it.”

“We can calculate the equivalent amount, but it was definitely inexpensive. Russia is a northern country with 70 percent of its territory located in the north and the far north. Alaska is not located in the southern hemisphere, either, is it? It’s cold out there as well. Let’s not get worked up about it, all right?” he said.

While Putin appeared to downplay the sale, Russian lawmaker Sergei Mironov in December hinted at Moscow reclaiming its previous territories in the future.

“Did you want a new world order? Receive and sign. Venezuela annexed a 24th state, Guyana-Essequibo. This is happening right under the nose of the once great hegemon of the United States. All that remains is for Mexico to return Texas and the rest. It’s time for Americans to think about their future. And also about Alaska,” Mironov wrote on X , formerly Twitter, last month.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev joked about the State Department’s response later Monday, writing on X , “According to a State Department representative, Russia is not getting back Alaska, which was sold to the U.S. in the 19th century. This is it, then. And we’ve been waiting for it to be returned any day. Now war is unavoidable,” with a laughing emoji attached.

Priorities for Seattle bureaucrats, a failed city (Part 2)

A typical freeway sighting in Seattle.

Demorat-run Seattle is a failed city. Massive homelessness, crime, tagging and a fentanyl crisis (among other issues).  Yet residents repeatedly elect ineffective demorats, some how expecting a different outcome.

Yet nothing, absolutely nothing will change.

Proof of the insanity of demorats in Seattle, via the latest headlines:

Seattle Police recruitment falls short as response times increase.”

From the MyNorthwest.com article:

“Since 2020, the department has lost 515 officers and hired 190. Many have retired, but others said in exit interviews they did not feel supported by the city during the “defund the police” movement following the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Due to officers being spread thin, police call response times have increased, with the highest priority calls taking an average of 10 minutes to get a response. “

Gun violence rising on Washington State highways.

I know this expands outside of Seattle yet again, demorats are in charge of that state. The demorat governor has passed multiple gun control laws which have had absolutely ZERO impact on crime. And Seattle’s gun crime is on the rise as well. From the article:

“Washington State Patrol (WSP) reports 396 separate incidents of gun fire on highways that state troopers patrol so far this year. Gun violence has increased from 459 shootings in 2018 to 1,058 in 2022.

So what is the Seattle City Council doing to address the crime, drugs, homelessness and the fentanyl crisis? Take a look:

Seattle City Council passes stronger tree protection ordinance.

“The Seattle City Council has passed a new Tree Protection Ordinance. The ordinance aims to preserve and expand Seattle’s urban canopy while allowing for new construction. “After half a decade of work, we have finally passed tree protections that will preserve, protect, and expand our urban tree canopy,”

This legislation takes a One Seattle approach to balance prioritizing tree canopy while also allowing for the development of needed housing – crucial for progress on climate goals, homelessness efforts, and housing affordability.”

Seattle people never learn…

What is a woman? The Church of England doesn’t know.

Woman def: An adult, female, human being (hotchickabus beatusyensys). Woman has been known to make Man (douffaramakus goofballferensis) do and say stupid things just by walking across the room wearing a tank top and shorts. source: Dictionary of Rational Thought and No Wok BS.

The Church of England has now gone on record saying it has “no official definition” of a woman.

What?

Really?

At first, I was inclined to think this news was a joke, something left over from from a lame April Fools Day prank. But, after a little digging, I found that it was all too true.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
British journalist Gabriella Swerling, writing for The Telegraph reported ” The Archbishops and York and Canterbury attend The Synod Eucharist Commission on a recent Sunday. The Church of England has come in for criticism after Dr Robert Innes, the Bishop in Europe, said ‘there is no official definition’ of a woman. In a written reply to a question submitted to General Synod, a senior Bishop said that although the meaning of the word woman was previously “thought to be self-evident, care” was now needed.
The question was posed as institutions grapple with the ongoing debate surrounding trans rights and what defines “a woman.”
While the new stance has been welcomed by liberal wings of the Church, the comments have also provoked criticism – with gender-critical campaigners saying that “whether your starting point is biology or the Bible”, the answer to the question of what is a woman remains the same.
Rev Angela Berners-Wilson, England’s first woman priest, said that she is “not totally happy” with the answer, but added that the issue is “sensitive”.Church officials are currently engaged in Living in Love and Faith (LLF), the institution’s ongoing and landmark project aiming to tackle how questions about identity, sexuality, relationships and marriage fit with the Church.
The issue of defining what a woman is emerged in written questions to the General Synod, the Church’s legislative body, in which Adam Kendry, a lay member of the Synod and a representative of the Royal Navy, asked: “What is the Church of England’s definition of a woman?”
In response, Dr Robert Innes, the Bishop in Europe, said that “there is no official definition”.
The Bishop in Europe, who was also replying in his role as chairman of the Faith and Order Commission, said in his written response: “There is no official definition, which reflects the fact that until fairly recently definitions of this kind were thought to be self-evident, as reflected in the marriage liturgy.
“The LLF project however has begun to explore the marriage complexities associated with gender identity and points to the need for additional care and thought to be given in understanding our commonalities and differences as people made in the image of God.”
Rev Angela Berners-Wilson, who became the first woman to be ordained as a priest in England in 1994, and who has recently retired, told The Telegraph in response to the Bishop of Europe’s answer: “I’m not totally happy with it. I mean, I do think certain things like men can’t have babies just to say the complete obvious thing.
“But I think we need to be very sensitive and maybe we need to reexamine our boundaries.”
Maya Forstater, executive director of the Sex Matters campaign group, described the Bishop’s answer as “shocking”, saying that “the concepts of male and female did not need to have a formal official definition” because “they are older than human life itself”.
She added: “When the Government redefined women through the Gender Recognition Act, the Church of England could have stuck with its long-established understanding, which makes sense whether your starting point is biology or the Bible.
“It is shocking that they so readily gave up the definition of man or woman for the state to amend, as if this fundamental truth did not matter.”
However Jayne Ozanne, synod member and founder of the Ozanne Foundation in 2017 – which works with religious organisations around the world to tackle prejudice and discrimination of LGBTQI people – described the question as “passive aggressive”.
She said: “Mr Kendy’s question is sadly a prime example of a passive aggressive question that is designed to upset the LGBT+ community and particularly the trans members in our midst.
“It’s time these anti-LGBT attacks stopped and that we learnt to acknowledge that life is not quite as black and white as some appear to think it should be.”
Dr Jane Hamlin, president of Beaumont Society charity, which supports trans people, added: “I am puzzled why some people are so obsessed with defining ‘woman’. Why might this be an issue for the Church of England?
“Is it that women should be treated more favourably or less favourably? Why does it matter to the Church of England whether someone is a woman or not a woman? Surely it only matters to the individual themselves.”
Apparently spelling is tuff…
This past weekend in Louisiana, Vice President Harris attended the Essence Festival and gave an interview with some actress by the name of Keke Palmer. Here’s a screenshot from the event:
You’d think that someone would have noticed the obvious typo.
Yet with today’s social media platforms and the state of our government education, we know that proper spelling is not high on the list for many.
What an embarrassment.
Apple workers threaten to QUIT in protest over going back to the office up to three days a week by May because they ‘don’t want to deal with the commute’
Via Daily Mail:
“Apple employees are just a little over a week from their mandatory return-to-office date, but some say they plan to quit in protest because they ‘don’t want to deal with the commute’ or ‘sit around for eight hours a day.’
All US staff will have to return to the office at least one day a week starting April 11, according to a memo sent by Apple CEO Tim Cook in March. By May 23, employees will be required to be in the office at least three days a week.
But some employees say they’d rather quit than return to the office, the New York Post reported.
‘I don’t give a single f*** about ever coming back to work here,’ an employee ranted on anonymous corporate message board Blind this week. ‘It was a great resume boost but it’s not for me,’ the worker added.
Several Apple employees expressed their frustration about the new policy, and many commenters supported them, saying ‘yeah, f*** Apple.’
‘I’m going to go in to say hello and meet everyone since I haven’t since I started and then sending in my resignation when I get home,’ the same employee wrote. ‘I already know I won’t be able to deal with the commute and sitting around for 8 hours.’
Other Apple workers complained about what they believe is Apple’s unfair policy, which they pointed out is stricter than other tech companies, including Google, Amazon and Meta.
One employee wrote that they were already in the final stages of interviews with other companies due to Apple’s new policy. Another said, ‘Totally bummed and looking into full remote jobs now.’
Bloomberg: Eat lentils and let your pets die of cancer!
From Daily Mail:
“Bloomberg raised eyebrows with an op-ed telling Americans earning less than $300,000 to eat less meat and cut back on chemotherapy for pets to beat spiraling inflation.
The business news outlet’s tweet that promoted the story also pointed out, ‘nobody said this would be fun,’ with scholar Teresa Ghilarducci’s article offering some very dark advice.
In the widely-mocked piece, headlined ‘Inflation Stings Most If You Earn Less Than $300k,’ Ghilarducci, a NYC-based labor and retirement expert, suggests switching to vegetables as a way of avoiding inflated meat prices.
‘Though your palate may not be used to it, tasty meat substitutes include vegetables (where prices are up a little over 4%, or lentils and beans, which are up about 9%),’ she writes. ‘Plan to cut out the middle creature and consume plants directly. It’s a more efficient, healthier and cheaper way to get calories.’
And for new pet owners, Ghilarducci advises ‘to rethink those costly pet medical needs’ by cutting back on cancer treatments for much loved furry-friends
‘It may sound harsh,’ she lectured. ‘But researchers actually don’t recommend pet chemotherapy — which can cost up to $10,000 — for ethical reasons.’
Ghilarducci also tells readers to reconsider public transportation to avoid gas prices, pointing out that public transportation prices are only up 8% compared to 38% for gas.”
This list of how you can lower your standard of living goes on here.
How about switching to policies that avoid America becoming the next Venezuela?
