This is all I needed for my Independence Day celebration. Thank you DCG. I grew up in a generational household …parents, grandparents, great-grandparents,—many cousins, aunts & uncles, great-aunts and uncles on call, on a Pennsylvania dairy farm, until we moved out and on our way when my dad finished an Agricultural Economics degree at Penn State. I love this song, and the video pretty much shows what many of my days, esp. holidays, birthdays, were like on the farm with family. I was not surprised, and very pleased, when Trump chose to use it at his rallies……nothing could have been or be more perfect for his base. This artist, and this song, has captured a moment in time for the American family and the American dream…..God only knows if it even still exists, or, if so, how long it might last or even make sense in the “new world” manifesting around us these days.

PS….Though…did you notice at the end of this video, there is a “Public Auction” sign? Meaning….the family farm is going to become moot, has to be sold? Trump got rid of the inheritance tax that threatens to destroy our family farms…our bread basket, our food sources But Senile Old Biden is returning to these punishing death taxes….so that children can not pay the death taxes on these land inheritances. They have to sell to pay the taxes. And to whom do they sell? Highest bidder—-which has been for YEARS the Chinese Communist Government. They have owned the apple orchards in Adams Co. PA for decades now….and the peach orchards in MD (way more than exist in the “Peach State” of Georgia) and substantial amts. of wheat producing lands in the mid-West. How safe do you feel from eventual starvation and the resultant political manipulation with the Chinese owning and running your bread basket?

That was just a perfect salute to this God given land of ours. I never tire hearing Lee Greenwood sing that tribute to the USA.
