Sunday Devotional: From the beginning of creation, God made them male and female

Rate this post

Genesis 2:18-24

The LORD God said: “It is not good for the man to be alone.
I will make a suitable partner for him.”
So the LORD God formed out of the ground
various wild animals and various birds of the air,
and he brought them to the man to see what he would call them;
whatever the man called each of them would be its name.
The man gave names to all the cattle,
all the birds of the air, and all wild animals;
but none proved to be the suitable partner for the man.

So the LORD God cast a deep sleep on the man,
and while he was asleep,
he took out one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh.
The LORD God then built up into a woman the rib
that he had taken from the man.
When he brought her to the man, the man said:
“This one, at last, is bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
this one shall be called ‘woman, ‘
for out of ‘her man’ this one has been taken.”
That is why a man leaves his father and mother
and clings to his wife,
and the two of them become one flesh.

Mark 10:5-9

But Jesus told them,
“Because of the hardness of your hearts
he wrote you this commandment.
But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female.
For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother
and be joined to his wife,
and the two shall become one flesh.
So they are no longer two but one flesh.
Therefore what God has joined together,
no human being must separate.”

Our Lord said, “But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female.”

Not “male and male,” or “female and female,” or  “she-male and he-male” trangenders.

And yet, as reported by LifeSiteNews, in an airplane interview on September 15, 2021, while ruling out same-sex marriage, Pope Francis expressed his support for civil unions of homosexuals because “we are all equal.” He said: “There are laws that try to help the situations of many people who have a different sexual orientation. If they want to support a homosexual couple in life together, states have the possibility of civilly supporting them.”

Br. Martin Navarro Ob. S.A. warned that the Pope’s support for same-sex unions “is tacitly equating a same-sex union with a family.”

That is why some call Francis the anti-Pope.

May the peace and love of Jesus Christ our Lord be with you,

~E

I’ve lived too long. In CA, when a child attains age 12 (the age group that I teach—middle school), if they decide they are transsexual, & tell their counselor…we teachers—by LAW— must NOT reveal it to parents, & MUST respect the word of the 12-yr-old & call them by their transsexual–chosen–name. So, I have to call out “Harvey” on every day roll call, even tho’ the officially parental-registered name is maybe “Mary.” I feel so badly when these parents contact me to find out why their child is failing classes, or is depressed or just what is going on that they feel is so different with their child. I KNOW the answer. But, I can’t tell them. I can’t give them information that will help them communicate with their child. Every year it gets worse and worse, and it’s ALWAYS a little girl who thinks she’s really a boy. What have we DONE to them that there is such a “pandemic” of this? I have more than 2-3 new cases per class of this to begin this year! I teach 5 sections, so do the math for this year to start &, teaching an elective that “rotates” certain classes after 12 weeks, I have 3 rotational classes for which I will get 2 more sections ea. rotating into my classroom during the year. So, if I already have 10 “transsexual” biological females so far this year in my classes….you can add 20 more this year as they rotate into and out of my 12-week courses, 2 more times. All girls who think they are boys. NO BOYS have EVER professed to be girls in my long teaching career.

Calgirl . . . My heart is with you, I cannot even begin to understand how distressing this is for you as a teacher. The fact that parents are deliberately blind-sided due to edicts put out by the school districts leaders is such a disservice to parents and students alike. The longer I live–the more crazy things get.I have no doubt that this phenomena also effects the students who are not beset with this emotional trauma. I am left wondering–do other student’s go home and report to their parents that Mary is now being called “Harvey,” thus setting up the scenario that everyone but the specific “child” knows that this student is experiencing a horrific problem.

God Bless you for being on the front lines, and working towards educating today’s students.

Communists NEVER take a break. They are relentless in their goals: Get control of the schools. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks. Gain control in TV and Hollyweird. Infiltrate the press. Breakdown the standards of morality. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals. Discredit the family institution. Etc., etc., etc., etc.
The commies have taken over every institution in America.
I’m afraid it’s an uphill battle that will not be won overnight. You can only try your best at your local level to rid the commie cancer that infiltrates our country.

Calgirl, I want to point something out, constructive criticism, no offense intended.

I have also worked as a teacher, although it was in a private Catholic school. As far as I can tell the Catholic schools are also full of left wingers and they dominate in shaping the curriculum. But because they are still affiliated with the church these transgender things aren’t a problem there…yet. So I haven’t been faced with this in the same way you have. But I do speak the uncomfortable truths to other teachers and to students who learn these crazy things at home.

What I want to say is, you don’t HAVE to call Mary by a made up name in this troubled time in her life. No one has a gun to your head, and even if they did, you still don’t have to. Think of the people in New York City and State losing their jobs this week. I will probably end up among them soon enough. We need people willing to refuse to go along with this madness and willing to accept the consequences of saying no.

I know everyone’s got a financial situation to think about, but at what price your soul?

You are wrong,unfortunately Reuben, as far as it goes to CA laws. I was called out by my principal and corrected b/c I called my identified transsexuals by the official registered names on my roll. I “got away” with this for some years until recently when I was instructed to call the child the transsexual name they’d requested through their counselor in an email…secret from their parents, but still registered as the original name on my role…..now the screws are turning harder downward. I MUST call Mary by “Harvey” or make a choice. My choice so far, just within years of retirement, is to NOT give up the years of salary/retirement I have earned to surrender to the whims of a 12-yr-old whose parents have no say/no counsel/no influence in this and don’t even KNOW that this is going on with their child, or for that matter, with me and my retirement endangerment. What would they say/do? I, instead, have found a way to NOT call these students ANYTHING….just “You” or “this table” or these two……etc etc. It’s a PITA…..but I will NOT give my lifetime of service to others, many times at the sacrifice of time with my own family, and my half-assed pension I have owned over to a 12-yr-old middle school student who, like at least one who I later had in 8th grade…said…”never mind….I’m no longer Harvey, I’m just Mary again….”

I understand. As long as I didn’t have to have an untrue word come out of my mouth, maybe I could limp through the last bit to retirement.

Sorry, just saw this Reuben….you got it…I am trying to limp through to retirement in this “new world order” without sacrificing what I’ve earned in a lifetime of service, and without offending others whom are easily offended these days by my (and my generation’s) “newness” to the various/multiple/daily changing sexual identifications, that, no matter, are NOT identified on our official roll sheets. And, BTW, when we are notified abt
the child’s sexual preference, by the child, is to be a secret from the parents, and so NEVER changed on the official roll/official registration. We are just supposed to note & remember it in our 200-student-seat days….It used to be “OK” when it was one or two in the 5-period day…but now it’s 2 or more for EACH 5 period class-day…..it’s been an explosion of girls who think they are boys (NEVER the opposite). After a year and a half of distance teaching on Zoom, when I returned to the classroom in person, I was SO not prepared for this explosion of “transgenderism” amongst my 12-yr-old girls. My own and only grandchild is a private school student at a religiously-based school. I am anxious to see what is going to go on this year with all this in this private school….just by comparison.

Dr E . . . thank you for this particular article. Although, the winds of dissension whirl all about us, it is good to be brought to a remembrance of how the Lord initiated things here upon the Earth.
