This landing of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner happened last Friday at Heathrow during Storm Eunice. According to the Daily Mail, Storm Eunice was throwing crosswinds of over 80 mph, making a landing very tricky.

Even though many pilots were forced to abort their landings, Captain Ruth Karauri and Copilot Clive Nyachieo of Kenyan Airways, was successful with their landing. ‘The flight conditions were strong gusting winds and it was quite a bumpy ride,’ she said.

I wonder how many prayers Christ heard at the moment they started their decent.
The nicest place to be is in someone’s thoughts, the safest place to be is in someone’s prayers, and the very best place to be is in the hands of God. Amen.

The Captain has been the talk of town thanks to her prowess in landing a Boeing 787 in extreme weather at Heathrow Airport.

I am sure that all those who went along on that “bumpy ride” were pretty darn thankful for the skill of their captain, and co-pilot. Bravo to them both!
