The Psychotherapist reminds me of a Benny Hill sight gag, where someone putting up a Therapist sign put up “The Rapist”
The IRS one brought up a bad memory for me – I went through an IRS audit almost 2 decades ago over an honest mistake, and had to pay a few thousand more than I already paid. One of the flunkies thought he could intimidate me by threatening jail time, and I was so pissed on the inside, I would’ve loved to pulverize the guy on the spot, but it was in the Federal Building downtown, so I doubt I could’ve gotten away with it
I did learn a few more helpful hints though for filing since then! 😜
Loved the last one…as I challenged the IRS on a mail audit ruling, and “won.” But then, the money that the IRS owed me back due to the ruling by a judge….they did not repay me, even tho’ ruled to do so. THEN, I got a “friendly” note in the mail from the IRS that said, in short, “We will not give your the money back that we owe you by the court ruling, just in case you owe us money next year.” They did not “win” on that premise, either. I am paying a tax attorney money, probably equal to what I’ve litigated, but to me, it’s worth every penny just to defend my right to dialogue with my government, as promised me in the Constitution. It’s a sad situation, b/c most Americans can not afford to do what I have done, which means that the IRS is an arm of our government that suppresses conversation between a citizen and his government, through the auspices of an unelected, strong-arm in favor of the government bureaucracy.
LOL so good and a nice break.
