OMG…thanks for this. Have seen this a few times before online, Elephant rescue from years of forced labor. Makes my day. The elephants appear so resilient, able to adjust immediately to their new free environment 🙂 One of our dau-in-laws is “into” elephant rescue” so we gift her something (a donation, a necklace, cards, whatever we find available to this cause) tied to a rescue org for her birthday every year, and we are so happy to do it. Makes her happy, makes us happy, and benefits these wonderful animals who grace our Earth.

What an injustice humanity has inflicted upon so many elephants since the beginning of time. My dream is to see a future where elephants are no longer used for labor or perform in circuses or killed for sport or for their ivory.
