This is nothing less than outrageous and a mockery of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the highest civilian award of the United States, alongside the Congressional Gold Medal, created to recognize people who have made an especially meritorious contribution to (1) the security or national interests of the United States, or (2) world peace, or (3) cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.
The New York Post reports, Jan. 4, 2025:
President Biden bestowed woke Democratic megadonor George Soros with the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Saturday — outraging critics who ripped the selection as a “national disgrace.”
Soros, 94, was among the 19 people chosen to receive the nation’s highest civilian honor at the White House, a group that included U2 frontman Bono, actor Denzel Washington and former senator Hillary Clinton — who also was panned as a recipient.
“George Soros spent millions electing soft-on-crime politicians that let criminals wreak havoc in our major cities,” Montana Senator Tim Sheehy told The Post. “Hillary Clinton abandoned our Navy SEALs in Libya.”
“Joe Biden’s decision to give Hillary Clinton and George Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom is a national disgrace,” the GOPer added….
Biden repeatedly thanked Soros for what he called, “all you’ve done to help this country.” …. Soros, who is worth more than $7 billion, has spent decades financing radical left wing causes such as Defund the Police, and groups including Black Lives Matter.
He has shifted tens of billions of dollars of his personal net worth over to his Open Society Foundations, which funds a multitude of progressive projects around the world, has also heavily invested in races to install far-left district attorneys in major American cities, which have seen crime numbers surge.
Soros-backed DAs, including Manhattan’s Alvin Bragg, Chicago’s Kim Foxx, Los Angeles’ George Gascón and Philadelphia’s Larry Krasner, have been ripped for pursuing a Marxist agenda that includes promoting lawlessness in the guise of “criminal justice reform,” over prosecuting criminals….
Former NYPD commissioner Ray Kelly said he could not “think of anyone who has done more to undermine the rule of law in this country than George Soros.”
The Hungarian-born hedge-fund billionaire gave more than $175 million to Democrats during the 2022 midterms, according to Federal Election Commission records.
In 2024, Soros funneled another $60 million for House and Senate Democrats and other left-wing causes through his Democracy PAC, records show. In 2020, Soros put up more than $200 million to “dismantle systemic racism.”
Soros and his allies have also contributed to a blight in major cities through “harm reduction” drug policies, critics have said. In Gotham, a Soros-funded nonprofit raised eyebrows for handing out free needles, crack pipes and even devices to “cook” heroin….

I for one have been fuming since this morning when I first read that Ol’ man Biden was giving this prestigious honor to Killary Clinton and George Soros. So tell me, among Killary’s meritorious actions that earned her that metal . . . was it because she shielded her errant husband from the fallout of (to put it politely) playing with a young intern with his cigar? Or, perhaps the fact that she facilitated selling off 30% of America’s Uranium reserve to the Russians? Or perhaps it was facilitating a foreign country murdering four of our best and brightest young men at Benghazi? Or, could it be her stealth and cunning in having her aids take hammers to their cell phones, so that our country could not followup on who they were calling and what they were discussing? Or perhaps it was her brainiac move of setting up her personal internet server to carry both government and her personal emails, which was strictly forbidden by government regulation? Or, must we look at the fact that she facilitated the “disposal” of tens of thousands of her emails, so that government officials could not follow up on what she was up to? Or, perhaps there were those who wish to do honor to her for coming up with the Russian collusion hoax? Or, could it be that there are those who were so mightily impressed with the seemingly mysterious death of her young aid, I be his name was Seth Adams. Perhaps it was her ability to bring people together–so many of us felt so warm and fuzzy inside when she called us “Deplorables!” Good golly! Her exploits and accomplishments span half a century–I guess it is hard to actually pick out her most endearing accomplishments on behalf of the American people.
Although, I rather doubt I will live to see it–the greatest honor which can be bestowed upon her is to usher her to the gates of Hell where I hope she will reside for ever and ever, without end.
For our POTUS to have chosen someone like this for this particular honor makes him look like a fool, and it cheapens the honor. I would hope that future nominees would just tell the White House . . . . “Thanks, but No Thanks!

Brian . . . . You are absolutely correct, prayer is the only answer to digging our nation out of the hole that this old traitor is digging so speedily, with which to ensnare us. Although, it would appear that we have good men/women on the horizon who can address the harm that has already been done–I fear that with the speed he is moving to screw up things, much time will need to be needed to undue what he is doing before we can move forward as a nation. May God Bless and have mercy on the righteous people of our land; and also the European and foreign lands where good people are and have been laboring under the weight of despots, just as we have. (In particular I look at England and see that the rulers in their Parliament have little to no concern for the indigenous people of the British Isles–they have decided to favor the influx of migrants over actual British citizens. It certainly appears that the very same game book is being adhered to both in America, and in so many of these European countries.
It’s the “everyone gets a trophy” party, good Lord! We cannot get these fools out soon enough. This is not o’biden it’s his ‘college educated’, brainwashed DEI & indoctrinated idiots making these decisions.
