Early one morning, a man found a hummingbird on the floor of his garage.
The tiny bird was trapped in the garage overnight, got dehydrated and fell to the floor.
Over the course of 8 hours, from 8 am to 4 pm, the kind man fed the bird homemade nectar with a syringe.
By 4 o’clock that afternoon, the bird had completely recovered and flew away.

I find I have tears in my eyes . . . that this selfless man nursed this weakened hummingbird for eight hours until it was sufficiently recovered and could fly away. There is no doubt that God has, from the very beginning ever since Adam and Eve graced the Garden of Eden, expected man to care for and have dominion over the animals he created for this Earth. This man was just carrying out that divine edict. God Bless him.
Luvs a happy ending!
Sweet!
Amazing!
Thank you Dr. E for this adorable and precious post. How kind and uplifting are these people! “Be kind, be kind, be kind, and you will be a saint.” (St. Vincent de Paul). What a beautiful little bird!!!!
