It grows to an average of 13 in. in height and 17 in. in length. It is found on the coastlines of southern Australia and New Zealand.
In Australia, they are often called fairy penguins because of their small size. In New Zealand, they are more commonly known as little blue penguins or blue penguins owing to their slate-blue plumage’

Oh, my goodness! What a blessing! Thank you, makes my day! The world is still good! All for the Glory of God!
Thanks! I went and saw the Little Blue Penguins in the South Island of New Zealand. My son lived/worked in Wellington, for several years.
That little guy was showing what can only be expressed as “pure joy” at receiving physical contact from his human. It was joyful to just get to see this. The first thing that popped into my mind was . . . what a great thing Our Eternal Father did in creating all these various animals for our benefit. We are physically and emotionally the recipients of great blessings from them. I am so grateful that He had the forethought to cause the creation of such wonderful things for you and I to enjoy here on this Earth.
