Wow! I want to comment on the masks as a teacher: by noon, I am gasping for breath. I have to scream all day (no voice left by the weekend) to project my voice so they can hear me. The kids do not scream, so I have to ask them 10 times to repeat whatever they are asking me. I pretend to have to sip the drinks I have on my desk with my straws, but its really only to set aside my mask and suck in REAL oxygen and not CO2…..My afternoon classes are the same…little 6th-graders who come in gasping. I tell them to sit and relax, drink water (which they have to carry with them b/c we can not have community sources) Many times we put our heads down and concentrate on controlled breathing through the masks to get “re-oxygenated.” On top of all that, my district controls my AC….so, when we are overwhelmed with the afternoon temps anyway and then we are masked, we sweat, fog up glasses, overheat, ….and I’m pretty sure that all this masking has the effectiveness of wearing a Kleenex over nose and mouth anyway.

I like the last one. I’m STILL trying to understand how it’s better to release Criminals than to treat them with the commonly available meds that can reduce the severity of the virus.

I am with you on that. You know you get to the point that you don’t ask why any more, you just look at how insane they are getting, as we go along. And that is what scares me. When does it stop or does it.
