Wow !That was just what I needed to see.
OMG…..tears rolling down my face, remembering a cross-country tenting trip when our family was soaked in a heavy rain and we needed to find dry lodgings the next day (in a very rural area) and tend to a child who had become ill…….to boot……and I won’t describe all that happened, but let’s say that I considered moving to Southern Missouri after the unsolicited kind and lovely treatment—most of it unasked—-by total strangers, some of whom corresponded with us for many years after that one contact. This is the REAL America, and not the jacked-up political progressive “gang” and agenda that so oppresses the best of our natures today.
Keep the faith, indeed.
The media/elites/politicians may need to create and want the divide. But you’ll find that there are many, many kind people in this country who don’t give a rat’s arse about your politics/skin color/vaccination status, etc. When one is in need, stranded on the side of the road, or down and out on their luck, their fellow mankind comes through.
I work with a volunteer program here in town and see the kindness extended by many from all walks of life, each and every single day!
If THAT doesn’t at LEAST put a lump in your throat, you’re not Human! Thank you!!!
