This happened last week in Yuma, Arizona. A Marine vet disarmed a punk trying to rob a Chevron store. Watch (commentary by Steve Inman):

When Yuma County Sheriff’s Office asked James Kilcer, who previously served in the U.S. Marine Corps, how he was able to take control of the situation he replied, “The Marine Corps taught me not to (mess) around.”

I can watch James Kilcer disarm the punk, again and again. 😀
This will surely give Oberlin College snowflake Peter Fray-Witzer the vapors. LOL

The first thought that came to my mind was . . . “Now, that is what a REAL man looks like,” in comparison to the skinny-assed little snowflakes who attempted this robbery. I can only express my appreciation and say, “Bravo, and God Bless you Mr Kilcer.” You are definitely an example of what it means to be a previously trained United States Marine! What blows me away is the fact that he did not spend any time in dithering over what he was going to do–he just proceeded to “take out the trash!” Many thanks to Truck and DCG for bringing this exciting piece of news to the attention of the rest of us. (Watching it is addictive, and I cannot seem to stop replaying the excitment.)
Thank you DCG for this wonderful post! God bless the Marine who is obviously competent and effective. Absolutely wonderful!
The Marine didn’t miss a beat. I believe someone wasn’t prepared for that….
