DCG will be absent from BodyandSoul for a while because she is in Eastern Washington taking care of her father who came down with the demon COVID19 virus.
Her father had been sick all last week and went to ER last Friday. Fortunately, his vitals, oxygen level and breathing were all good, and was sent home.
But then, being very weak, he fell and went back to ER. Fortunately, nothing was broken, and his vitals and breathing were also good, but he is still very weak and sleeps all day.
DCG asks for our prayers.
Please pray that her father recovers quickly, that DCG remains healthy and be returned safely to us soon.

I pray that healing will begin immediately and that the organisms that have infected DCG’s father will wither and die. May DCG be given strength and the will to persevere during this trying time. May the Angels of Heaven dwell in that home to bless and sanctify everyone who dwells there.

Dad’ vitals remain good and normal at every check. The fatigue is knocking him down hard though. But he’s managed to get up the past two days to watch some baseball games so that’s good!

Update: Dad is recovering good from the virus after four days in the hospital. We now have a vascular issue to address via surgery.
I’ll be spending a third week in WA state with him next week to get him to surgery in the city and setup home health care, which is difficult to secure in a remote location during this virus.

Dad took a turn for the worse this am. Awaiting more test results to determine cause of a secondary infection. He’s at ER in town and now on waitlist for transfer to hospital in city where they have more capabilities.
