Such joy! They put us humans to shame — in being true to God’s injunction to us to “always be joyful”.

Loved this & watched it twice. We are dogless for a while, not “over” yet losing our 3 dogs one at a time over the last few yrs. Meanwhile, we rescued 2 litters of kittens over Covid so our home is full. But, w/o a doubt, we miss the much displayed unconditional love our dogs gave us, as well as the way they “enforced” traditions & daily schedules in our home. They made us walk & swim every night at the exact same time & get the paper at the same time every morning, & so on. Now we are “slugs” w/o them, stumbling through the day without this structure. Cats are very loving & personality-filled, for sure, but they don’t care about the clock…except for feeding time 🙂
Our dogs are always rescues. God will knock on our door one
day again w/the next “perfect” dog for us, at just the right time. We await.

They are like our children and we love then such. A man in Memphis lost his dog it saved his life, he was being car jacked and they shot him in his foot and then was going to shoot him again when his dog attacked the man and ran him off sadly though the dog got shot to and died. They love us that much more than most humans would.
