While watching the snippet of the cat watching the horror movie–I was dumbfounded by the fact that the pupils of the kitties eyes got huge. That little guy was totally engaged in what was going on in what was seen on the tv screen.
As my cat, Baby got older, she would on occasion “watch” something I was viewing via the internet. She would absolutely follow the what was being shown. It really intrigued me, and I always wondered what was going on in her mind.
I also loved the laid-back cat eating from a can as he remained reclined. What a sweetheart.
I had to laugh at the puppy sitting on the head of a litter-mate. It’s intriguing that when they are so young that they will pretty much put up with anything.
These were really great . . . viewing was a wonderful way to start my day. Thank you so much for posting.
OMG….I’ve had the film of the cat watching “Psycho” in my files for maybe 5 years now and watch it every now and then…esp on a bad school day. I project it for my kids in art classes to watch (the lesson is…..you can tell a story/convey emotion without words….ie, art) and it totally changes a day that is in a downward spiral…..Suddenly, we can direct conversation, share, and mostly use the lesson as springboard for a quick art lesson (like….what part of the face shows unspoken emotion the best????? Eyes and Eyebrows?) This is a great share 🙂
Thanks Dr. E! Also for recognizing, I think, that education for the arts, esp. in elementary and middle schools, has a universal academic application while this age group is maturing in thought processes… It teaches connections, and assimilation of ideas taught from arts to academia. This is not universally recognized anymore, 🙁 to the detriment of our overall ability to assimilate information within academia……

How many times did you push your feet to the end of the bed only to find your pooch has taken that spot and your out of luck and have to wait to stretch. Just about everyone with a dog had experience this I am sure of it.
My big dogs (fat Labs) never had enough room on the bed, so had their own beds….BUT, we are cat-laden and rarely get to choose our own chair or ottoman or part of the bed to sit on or sleep on….we get the “left-over space.” Sometimes we sleep in near fetal positions b/c the cats won’t move no matter what.
The bed sheets is true!! 😂
And the pupils of the cat watching Psycho 🤣
