Palantir CEO Alex Karp
Daily Wire reports, Dec. 9, 2024, that Alex Karp, the co-founder and CEO of Palantir, said during a panel discussion at the Reagan National Defense Forum late last week that Democrats lost the 2024 election because they did not understand the fundamental human desire to feel safe.
Karp said: “Americans are the most loving, God-fearing, fair, least discriminatory people on the planet. They want to know that if you’re waking up and thinking about harming American citizens, or if American citizens are taken hostage and kept in dungeons, or if you’re a foreign power sending fentanyl to poison our people, something really bad is going to happen to you and your friends and your cousins, and your bank account and your mistress, and whoever was involved.”
“When Americans are spending a trillion dollars on ‘defense,’ what I want and what I think my peers want is: why are these people keeping our citizens as hostages, torturing our people, attacking our allies, maligning us in what was once called the United Nations — basically a discriminatory institution against anything good? We need to stand up and those people need to be scared.”
He said that it was critical for the U.S. to dominate because “we have the best products in the world, and we can not have parity. Our adversaries do not have our moral compunction. If it is even, they will take advantage of our niceness, our kindness, our desire to be at home in Nebraska and New Hampshire or wherever we live, in our peaceful environments.”
“They need to wake up scared, and go to bed scared, and if you give that to the American people, the American people will go back and say — and honestly, I probably shouldn’t say this, this is why I thought the Democrats were going to lose the election, and why they did, because people want to live in peace. They want to go home. They do not want to hear your woke pagan ideology. They want to know they’re safe. And safe means the other person is scared. That’s how you make someone safe.”
“The average American person understands this. Unfortunately, many of the intellectually captured institutions, funneled and intellectually owned by the Berkeley faculty, do not. That’s what they want. It is sure as hell what I want. And that is why Palantir and all the people in this room, I hope, are here to serve the American people. And my version of service is, ‘The soldiers are happier, the enemies are scared, and Americans go back to enjoying the fact that we’re the only ones with a real tech scene in this country and we’re going to win everything.’”

Frankly. this gentleman is brilliant. He is right on the money. It has been years since most Americans actually felt “safe.”
Look at the fact that General Miley )hopefully I have the correct name actually had such treasonous intentions that he took it upon himself to call the CCP.with the promise that he would alert them if ten President Trump choose to engage in a preemptive strike against China. Let that soak in, when had President Trump ever acted with such wild abandon? Is he bombastic with some of his statement? Yes, and that is exactly why foreign leaders were willing to walk a straight line, because they really did not know what he might do.
The sheer number of “woke” individuals who it would appear to be more than willing to harm America and her people is just monumental.

I remember first reading about Palantir, and thinking we had better watch out about them. It’s interesting to hear the Palantir CEO speaking like this, but he has not yet gained my trust.

Don’t trust this guy (as so many in Gov’t or Industry now)…but ditto idea that “Americans don’t feel safe.” HELLO!!!!! We’ve been telling “those in power” this for 4 yrs & they didn’t GET IT, which is why the Dems LOST & still don’t know why yet: we’ve lost our buying power, world energy dominance, business, military readiness, the power/value of the middle class, the loss of future financial stability (home ownership, even buying a damned car or ability to have/ feed a child or PET for God’s sake), the value of our old age retirements, our “Obama/Pelosi Health care reform “in reality–only a “reform” & decimation of health insurance–a socialist redistribution of health benefits, deductions, etc. (so that those who never pay, never pay, & those who have always paid, pay now out the nose for others in deductions before they benefit from their insurance–which now in this admin, esp in CA, includes recently arrived illegals). In CA, this means that even the most financially “gifted” now have to go to Mexico for meds & treatments b/c they pay $10,000 deductions per person per yr bef their $1200/mo or more) health insurance will kick in. So, basically, Obama Care gave those who never paid anything, free medical care, & those who carry insurance, get only basic “catastrophic” insurance. Anything below that, they pay out of pocket. This did NOT reform health care…it reformed/redistributed HEALTH INSURANCE. Damned sure we are not ‘safe.” No one who works for a living is “safe” in America now & until HUGE sweeping change reverses the insults visited upon the average, middle class and above citizen in the USA these last 4 years by a verbose & power-hungry Dem admin whose only goal is to gain MORE power through congressional districting via body-count in the next census.
