During the last days of the Biden administration, in the name of “climate justice,” the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gave $20 BILLION of taxpayers’ hard-earned money to eight “entities” that would then distribute to NGOs and others at the entities’ discretion without transparency.
This scheme is the first of its kind in EPA history, and was purposely designed to obligate all of the money in a rush job with reduced oversight.
The EPA’s new administrator, Lee Zeldin, said: “Never in EPA history has anything like this ever happened. And there was a decision to park $20 billion of tax dollars at a ‘green’ bank just outside of government to lessen the amount of oversight that government has over the funds, to give it to eight different entities – not like $20 billion on 40,000 different entities; we’re talking about eight entities – and then those entities are distributing the funds. You’re getting further and further removed with less government accountability.”
Fortunately, the new team lat the EPA has found the $20 billion and will terminate the financial agreement with the bank and return the funds to the government. (Sources: Daily Wire; NewsMax)
The EPA administrator culcable for the last-minute $20 BILLION giveaway is Michael S, Regan, a Biden appointee.
As President of the United States, Donald Trump is head of the executive branch of government. US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is a bureaucracy within the executive branch, which means Trump is the boss of USDA and its employees, including the inspector general.
The role of the modern-day inspector general dates to post-Watergate Washington, when Congress installed offices inside agencies as an independent check against mismanagement and abuse of power. Though inspectors general are presidential appointees, some serve presidents of both parties. All are expected to be nonpartisan. (AP)
On January 24, 2025, President Trump fired about 17 independent inspectors general at various federal government agencies, effective immediately.
But the IG of USDA, one Phyllis Fong, simply refused to comply, and had to be escorted out of her office by security guards.
The inspector general of the U.S. Department of Agriculture was escorted out of her office by security on Wednesday after she refused to leave following her dismissal by the Trump administration last week.
Phyllis Fong, one of the 17 watchdogs fired last week, told colleagues of her plan to stay, believing the Trump administration did not follow the correct protocols, Reuters reports.
The Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency “has taken the position that these termination notices do not comply with the requirements set out in law and therefore are not effective at this time,” she wrote in an email to colleagues over the weekend.
Sen. Chuck Grassley has also said the administration did not give the proper 30-day notice of removal to Congress.
But the White House defended the move. “It is the belief of this White House and the White House counsel’s office that the president was within his executive authority” to do so, [White House Press Secretary Karoline] Leavitt said Tuesday.
Trump, she added, “is the executive of the executive branch, and therefore he has the power to fire anyone within the executive branch that he wishes to.”
Leavitt then referenced a 2020 Supreme Court decision, Seila Law LLC v. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau,which ruled that the CFPB’s agency structure violates the separation of powers under the U.S. Constitution. “I would advise you to look at that case, and that’s the legality that this White House was resting on,” Leavitt said.
Asked by the reporter whether the Trump administration believed its order would survive a lawsuit or court challenge from the former inspectors general, Leavitt responded affirmatively. “We will win in court,” she said decisively, before moving on. (Fox News)
In 2002, Phyllis Fong was nominated by then-President George W. Bush to serve as the IG of USDA. I cannot find Fong’s party affiliation but from her behavior, we have good reason to suspect her of being a Democrat. Legacy media (or arm of the DNC as they often act) is dead. A self-inflicted mortal would that, one could say, began when Obama became president. They slobbered over the first black president and couldn’t hide their glee for him.

Yesterday press secretary Karoline Leavitt held her first briefing and it was spectacular in many ways. She announced major changes to the press room and how this administration will be more welcoming to alternative press outlets.
As reported by Fox News, Leavitt announced the Trump administration was rolling out major changes to make room for newer, less traditional media voices in the briefing room.
Leavitt told reporters these changes were being made to keep in line with President Donald Trump’s “revolutionary media approach” that he deployed during his campaign in speaking to popular podcast hosts and social media influencers. From the report:
“In keeping with this revolutionary media approach that President Trump deployed during the campaign, the Trump White House will speak to all media outlets and personalities, not just the legacy media who are seated in this room,” she began before citing Gallup polls showing Americans’ low confidence in the mainstream media.
“Millions of Americans, especially young people, have turned from traditional television outlets and newspapers to consume their news from podcasts, blogs, social media and other independent outlets,” Leavitt continued. “It’s essential to our team that we share President Trump‘s message everywhere and adapt this White House to the new media landscape in 2025.”
Leavitt announced steps the Trump administration was taking to accomplish this, beginning with restoring the press passes for 440 journalists whose passes she said “were wrongly revoked” by the Biden administration.
The briefing room will also now be opened up to “new media voices who produce news-related content” and outlets who haven’t been welcomed into the briefing room previously, she said.”

Karoline also told the press corp that they need to hold themselves to the same standard of truth they hold the White House. And she did this whole briefing without a “binder” or a “circle back.”
Don’t hold your breath that the legacy media will accept this “truth” challenge. They can’t help themselves due to their TDS. Adieu, legacy media. You deserve this cancellation.

President Biden bestowed woke Democratic megadonor George Soros with the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Saturday — outraging critics who ripped the selection as a “national disgrace.”
Soros, 94, was among the 19 people chosen to receive the nation’s highest civilian honor at the White House, a group that included U2 frontman Bono, actor Denzel Washington and former senator Hillary Clinton — who also was panned as a recipient.
“George Soros spent millions electing soft-on-crime politicians that let criminals wreak havoc in our major cities,” Montana Senator Tim Sheehy told The Post. “Hillary Clinton abandoned our Navy SEALs in Libya.”
“Joe Biden’s decision to give Hillary Clinton and George Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom is a national disgrace,” the GOPer added….

Daily Wire reports, Dec. 9, 2024, that Alex Karp, the co-founder and CEO of Palantir, said during a panel discussion at the Reagan National Defense Forum late last week that Democrats lost the 2024 election because they did not understand the fundamental human desire to feel safe.
Karp said: “Americans are the most loving, God-fearing, fair, least discriminatory people on the planet. They want to know that if you’re waking up and thinking about harming American citizens, or if American citizens are taken hostage and kept in dungeons, or if you’re a foreign power sending fentanyl to poison our people, something really bad is going to happen to you and your friends and your cousins, and your bank account and your mistress, and whoever was involved.”
“When Americans are spending a trillion dollars on ‘defense,’ what I want and what I think my peers want is: why are these people keeping our citizens as hostages, torturing our people, attacking our allies, maligning us in what was once called the United Nations — basically a discriminatory institution against anything good? We need to stand up and those people need to be scared.”
He said that it was critical for the U.S. to dominate because “we have the best products in the world, and we can not have parity. Our adversaries do not have our moral compunction. I grew up in Washington State and thankfully was able to flee to a red state over a decade ago.
During my voting years in the Seattle area, absolutely none of my candidates ever won. The area has been blue for decades. Seattle has had a democrat mayor since 1969 and Washington’s last republican governor was elected in 1981. And during the past presidential election, Washington State got “slightly” bluer.
To understand this phenomenon, get inside the mind of a liberal: A business-owner who was recently robbed and doesn’t want the perps to go to jail. Seriously.
“Just before 2:30 a.m. last Wednesday, Desirae Aylesworth woke up to the sound of her Ring camera system notifying her of a breach in her café. Her Seattle café was being robbed, becoming the latest victim of Seattle’s crime crisis.
Aylesworth is the co-owner of Wild Mountain Cafe in the Crown Hill neighborhood of Seattle. When she reviewed the surveillance feeds from her restaurant, she saw two young men jumping the back fence of her business, and then breaking in. She immediately called 911.
“I spent the following 10 to 15 minutes on the phone trying to get police there in time to catch them, and in the process, just was watching in real time two burglars going through my restaurant and not completely trashing the place, but definitely looking for something specific,” Aylesworth explained to “The Jason Rantz Show” on KTTH. “And you know, it was very obvious they were after money and didn’t care too much about product or electronics or anything else, which is, you know, saving grace in the whole matter.”
The two thieves stole about $5,000 in cash, which was earmarked for staff tips. And unfortunately, the two suspects escaped before police arrived.
It’s unclear the thieves’ ages, but judging from surveillance footage, they appear to be young. Despite the crime, though, Aylesworth doesn’t want them going to jail. They appear young enough to be course-corrected with intervention. She thinks community service would be more appropriate.
As is too often the case, the suspects are still on the loose.“
The business owner felt very violated and helpless. Stealing $5,000 in King County is a first-degree theft Class B felony crime. Jail time should be the punishment for these perps. Believing that community service will deter them is a product of the liberal mindset.
The Seattle Police Department is severely understaffed as they are at their lowest staffing level since 1958. Last year’s crime data showed that Seattle had a drop in overall crime yet a rise in homicides and auto thefts.
Despite spending over nearly $1 billion the past decade to “fix” homelessness, Seattle’s homeless population continues to rise. And their fentanyl crisis continues, when Washington State reported a 41% rise in drug overdose fatalities (between September 2022 and September 2023) — the highest increase in the United States.
But you keep voting blue, liberals of Washington. Y’all keep voting for this so embrace the suck. So glad I left you for a red territory.
