From the Rumble video description:
“On Valentine’s Day, this calf was born in sub-zero temperatures during a winter storm. She was found near lifeless, so they brought her inside to warm her up. The family puppy started licking her face like her mama would. And then the puppy cuddled up to the calf to warm her up. Soon after, the calf made a full recovery thanks in part to the puppy that helped save her!”

Good pup!
Thank you DCG for this wonderful post showing great kindness from a beautiful dog. How inspiring is the virtue of love!
That was just wonderful.
Tears. We lost our rescue discarded “breeder” Blonde Lab last year to cancer, our Maggie. We had her 8 of her estimated 12 yrs. She was a born hunter who wouldn’t allows voles, moles, rats, mice, coyotes, opossums, rattlers, evil people…etc….into our property. BUT, she NEVER EVER disallowed wild-born kittens, bunnies, or similar. We took them in (moms, too) & neutered/ spayed them. Maggie raised them like they were her own babies. They slept & ate with her, & she was the giantess “Mother Nature” for us all, humans inclusive. We dearly miss her. We remain “dogless” for now, but with many of the cats she raised. God will knock on our door someday again with our next Maggie. We await.
Maggie sounds like the sweetest! Sorry to hear about her passing.
