My favorite was the last one about the owl. It made me literally LOL.

Ha Ha…loved them all…but…I admit my fav was the one that says “found a strange piece of plastic on the floor…….saved it in the junk drawer”. Just in case…etc….story of my life as an art teacher, other (history) teacher, etc…..you just don’t KNOW what you will need tomorrow b/c you only have $250/yr budget for your classroom instruction needs, or expendables for projects, daily walk-aways, consumables, and so on……pencils, papers, markers, colored pencils or others…..it’s a crazy-maker when you have up to 190 students seated in your room per day…& have to make it last all year….and there are kids these days….gasp!….who might destroy your whole year’s supply of colored pencils in one day with “karate chop extravaganza” and never have to repay…because it’s “free.”
Many years I end the year with “reading and writing about art, instead of DOING art, b/c I have no supplies to DO art. I was NOT hired as a fund-raiser….the non-art/performing arts academia are not required to fund-raise for their instructional materials, and so I will NOT do so, either. Most of them do not have “walk away, consumables” every day like I do…yet, I get the SAME budget as they do…..
My favorite is the “cut back on jalapeños.”
Wow! So many that were really great. I was rather intrigued at the one labeled “Jet Fighter.” The longer I looked at it the funnier I thought it was.
That one was my favorite!
