I love the one about “rehoming the dog.” I have a neighbor that has a noisy little guy that needs to be “rehomed.” I don’t understand why they are oblivious to his constant barking.
I know the answer to that. Same as whenever I got a new-to-me car or truck,I’d drive it a lot for a couple of days, listening to all the rattles, squeaks and weird noises it made, and analyzing them,to decide if they were “life-threatening” to me or the vehicle. Once I knew what was serious and what was just annoying,I’d fix the serious stuff, and “tune-out” the annoying stuff.
THAT’S what your neighbor is doing with their doggie. They figure it’ll be a ton of work/expense to train that barking outta their dog,so they simply “tune it out”. Maybe a few visits from the Cops or Animal Control answering Complaints will change their thinking.

The one that made me laugh most was the homing pigeon one. They’re all funny though! Thanks for posting them!
I love the “purrenial” one b/c I can relate: I just had out of state visitors for a few days, and revived the use of a large oval bowl for serving chips etc. I washed it and meant to put it away again, but set it atop my piano in the meantime. Now I can’t put it away b/c one of my cats is using it, blissfully, for a napping bed. She fits perfectly, with a few limbs hanging over. It’s a pretty and soothing picture to behold.
