That didn’t last long: Ellen DeGeneres planning to move back to the US after a year abroad

Earlier this year Ellen DeGeneres confirmed that she moved to the UK because of the re-election of President Donald Trump. She was in the UK at the time of the election and said the following this past July:

“We got here the day before the election and woke up to lots of texts from our friends with crying emojis, and I was like, ‘He got in’,” she said. “And we’re like, ‘We’re staying here.’”

CNN also reported the following:

DeGeneres went on to enthuse about the English countryside to the crowd in Cheltenham, saying, “It’s absolutely beautiful,” the BBC reported. “We’re just not used to seeing this kind of beauty. The villages and the towns and the architecture – everything you see is charming and it’s just a simpler way of life.”

“It’s clean. Everything here is just better – the way animals are treated, people are polite. I just love it here,”

Fast-forward a year and she has decided that apparently not everything is better in the UK. From the Daily Mail:

“Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi are reportedly planning to head back home to the United States after living in the English countryside for the last year.

The Mail on Sunday can reveal that Ms. DeGeneres has told friends she and Ms. de Rossi are planning to spend more time in sunny California because they ‘miss their friends’ and dread the thought of another British winter.

A source said: ‘Ellen was adamant that she and Portia were going to stay in the UK while Trump was in the White House, but evidently she’s changed her mind somewhat.

‘She’s been telling friends they are coming home soon because they miss them and can’t take the winters over there, and Portia wants to act again. They will be here for the holidays and longer by the sound of it.’

The source said: ‘Ellen was very clear that they’re coming back to California sooner rather than later. They miss the warm weather and their friends.’

I give Ellen some credit for at least she left as she said she would, unlike the many other celebrities who threatened to leave if Trump was president and then never did leave. Alas, it was not a permanent situation.

Why term limits are desperately needed in our political system

Meet 88-year-old Eleanor Holmes Norton, a congress critter representing The Swamp. Like many other should-be retired politicians, she opts to remain in some sort of power.

Norton was first elected to represent DC in 1991. She has been in office for over 34 years. She is running for re-election because, “my seniority is what is very important.” From the NY Post:

“The oldest member of the House, 88-year-old Democrat Eleanor Holmes Norton, brushed aside growing concerns about her age, saying that she will “of course” be running for re-election.

“I say that my seniority is what is very important, and I am not going to step aside,” Norton, a non-voting delegate representing the District of Columbia, told Axios.

Norton, who was born in 1937 and has served as a of the House since 1991, has sparked concern among friends and colleagues who feel she has experienced a notable mental decline in recent years, the New York Times reported earlier this year.”

Along with her wrong assessment of the National Guard being in DC, she is obviously declining in her mental faculties as we see she has problems even reading from a script.

It’s also been observed that she cannot fully function at public events . Ealier this year, Mother Jones noted that at a town hall telephone meeting Norton “read some opening remarks, but when participants directed questions at her, union reps or a democracy activist provided most of the answers. “Congresswoman, I’d be happy to jump in” was a typical intervention during her many unexplained silences.”

Mother Jones also reported, “Norton’s uncertain performance did not escape notice. “It turns out Rep. Norton defers all responses to her constituents’ questions, to someone else,” a YouTube commenter complained. “Not what I expected.”

Alas, she will probably win re-election. As seen in many blue-run cities, districts and states, voting habits enable democrats to hold on to their “seniority.”

Big wins for Trump and parental rights; legacy media hardest hit

Today the Supreme Court issued two rulings that were a win for America, common sense, and our judicial system.

First, from Brietbart:

“The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 on Friday in the controversial “birthright citizenship” case that lower courts cannot simply issue nationwide injunctions, and that doing so is an abuse of their judicial power.

The decision in Trump v. Casa vindicated the Department of Justice (DOJ) strategy of arguing against the idea of nationwide injunctions, rather than addressing the underlying substantive issue in the case — namely, the dispute over whether the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution guarantees citizenship upon birth.”

“We have our fourth opinion. It is Mahmoud v. Taylor, by Justice Alito. Huge 6-3victory for parental rights over the ability to withdraw their children from LGBTQ lessons.

A school district was pushing LGBTQ ideology hard during pride month, promoting books to be read in class for pre-k through fifth grade. a number of parents, including Muslims and Catholics, demanded that their children be allowed to opt out. The school district didn’t allow it, and neither did any of the lower courts, but the Supreme Court just ruled that the school has to allow the opt out.”

Some critics have argued that the decision interferes with the job of public schools to expose students to a pluralistic society of different beliefs and ideas. “Unfortunately, the opinion of the court today was that the religious beliefs of a few parents who are of different faiths that happen to share a religious belief that being LGBTQ is morally wrong … are more important than the government being able to serve the children in these schools and their families.” 

CBS News: “Supreme Court sides with parents who objected to kids’ books on gender identity, sexuality. In Sotomayor’s view, the books introduce readers to LGBTQ characters, but drawn on common themes presented to children in other works, such as overcoming difficulties, celebrating milestones or fairytale romances.”

NBC News: “Supreme Court curbs injunctions that blocked Trump’s birthright citizenship plan. The administration has complained bitterly as judges have issued nationwide injunctions in response to Trump’s bold and aggressive use of executive power to implement his contentious agenda, which has included ramping up deportations, downsizing federal agencies, targeting law firms and universities, and firing thousands of federal employees.”

Liberals hardest hit today as Trump Derangement Syndrome has broken these people. They better up their meds for the next three and a half years.

A thing of beauty: Sebastian Gorka smacks down Politico reporter

Politico is nothing more than an arm of the DNC, just like most lamestream media outlets.

For some reason, they chose to invite Sebastian G0rka to their Security Summit. Journalist Dasha Burns thought she (like most journalists today) would get the best of Gorka but he ain’t playing around. Burns tried to  defend a narrative for the “Maryland Man” who was deported due to his affiliation with the notorious MS-13 gang.

If you have time, watch the whole 29 minutes. Gorka does a good job defending the truth and President Trump’s policies while simultaneously putting this hack journalist in her place.

MAGA-hater woman gets instant karma

From New York Post, March 23, 2-25:

A straphanger got “instant karma” when she tried to yank a MAGA hat off another rider’s head — and instead face-planted on a filthy Manhattan subway platform.

In a now-viral clip, the woman branded the hat-wearer a “racist” aboard a No. 6 train entering the 28th Street station in Manhattan last week.

“If you f–king voted for Trump, you’re a racist. He’s a racist,” the woman said to another commuter while pointing at the MAGA hat-wearing man shortly after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on the northbound train.

Christopher Ngo, a retired Philadelphia cop-turned-life coach who recorded the clip, told The Post of the incensed commuter, “She was pretty much angry about the hat and that young man was trying to stand his ground.

“She was definitely aggressive.

“But there were other people in the car who were defending the young man with their opinions as well,” the witness said.

Some of the other straphangers urged the woman to leave the man — who chuckled at her remarks and questioned how he could be considered a racist — alone.

One of the bystanders even began arguing with the woman, telling her, “New York City has been run by Dems for the last decade and this is why things are the way they are,” Ngo said.

But the woman continued to harass the MAGA fan, who insisted he is not racist.

He then lifted the red cap off his head and ducked out of the train’s open door after it entered the station — while she lunged toward him in an attempt to snatch it away.

The pair appeared to briefly tussle before the man ran down the platform, with the woman hot on his heels and her arms outstretched toward the hat.

She only made it a few steps before she fell face-first on the platform.

“Freedom of speech — everyone has their own opinions, but when it gets physical, that’s when it just goes too far,” said Ngo, adding he contemplated stepping in before deciding to record the interaction instead.

“It was a once-in-a-lifetime moment that you can see only in New York City. And that’s what I love about the city,” he said.

The clip has since been reshared across numerous platforms, including X, where it gained momentum on conservative accounts.

“Woman falls on her face after trying to grab a MAGA hat from a man’s head in New York … Instant karma,” said Collin Rugg, co-owner of the conservative media company Trending Politics, on X on Friday.

The clip has racked up millions of views, and most commenters cheered on the embarrassing fall.

In an update, the NY Post reports that the MAGA-hater woman is Alberta Testanero, a 55-year-old dual Italian-American citizen, who is a creative director for several luxury brands like Tiffany & Co., Coach, Bergdorf Goodman and Kate Spade, Testanero prides herself on “maintaining the highest standards,” according to her online profiles.

Tesla domestic terrorists getting caught

Hate-filled Democrats are vandalizing Tesla cars, both privately-owned and in showrooms, because they object to what Elon Musk is doing in eliminating BILLIONS of taxpayers’ dollars in corruption and waste from federal government agencies like the super-corrupt US Agency for International Development (USAID) .

What these vandals do not seem to know is that many Tesla cars are equipped with cameras–front, sides, and back–and so the criminals are captured on camera committing their crimes, keying Tesla cars. And many have been arrested.

So, not only are Democrats hateful and in favor of government corruption and waste, they are also stupid.

Winning: Lame stream (DNC) media hacks that are out

Trust in the U.S. mainstream media is at an all-time low. It is a self-inflicted demise that began when Obama became president. Since then, their Trump Derangement Sydrome has rendered them to the point that they are unable to deliver true news without inserting lies and falsehoods.

Thankfully the trash is taking itself out. Let’s take a look at the propagandists have been given pink slips, shall we?

Let’s start with the racist Joy Reid at MSNBC.

“ReidOut” was officially axed yesterday. Good riddance to this vile creature who made an extraordinary effort to make everything about race and hate. She had claimed that Trump supporters were “Talibanesque” and compared them to Islamic terrorists. President Trump celebrated her departure as only he can, saying “MSDNC had finally gotten the nerve up to fire one of the least talented people in television, the mentally obnoxious racist Joy Reid.”

NBC News anchor Lester Holt is stepping down.

Holt announced his departure yesterday after serving over ten years with the NBC Nightly News show. An NBC executive said, “What’s equally remarkable is how Lester has masterfully filled this esteemed role with extraordinary grace and humility. He’s proven time and time again why he stands among the great legends of broadcast news.”

Last year Holt implied that Trump and JD Vance were to blame for President Trump’s second assassination attempt due to their “baseless” claims about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio. Such grace Lester Holt, such grace indeed. I’d say he ranks right up there with the legendary Dan Rather.

Chuck Todd, NBC’s chief political analyst, was “pushed out the door” and is done.

Radaronline reports that Todd didn’t walk away. Rather, “He was sidelined, stripped of influence, and left with no real choice. His exit was anything but voluntary.”

Todd wrote in January 2024 in an op-ed entitled, Confronting Trump:

“Ultimately, as hard as everyone outside the GOP is trying to honestly confront Trump, it’s the Republican Party members who are either going to have to do it or lose their careers trying. Because one day, association with Trump won’t be a golden ticket to winning a GOP primary, but a mark of shame in the history books. Let’s hope we won’t need to build new museums or exhibits to prove to the American public we’ve learned a lesson.”

Guess Todd was wrong in foreshadowing who exactly would lose their career.

Last but not least, there’s the most obnoxious former CNN reporter, Jim Acosta.

At the end of January Jim Acosta announced that he was leaving CNN. During President Trump’s first term, Acosta had the largest and loudest case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Acosta even wrote a book about his infection, which included his “first-hand account of the dangers he faced reporting on the White House while fighting “on the front lines” in President Trump’s war on truth.”

Acosta has moved on to “The Jim Acosta Show” on Substack where he’s no doubt facing danger reporting on President Trump’s second term. You knew he couldn’t quit Trump.

So much winning to start President Trump’s second month in office!

They just don’t get it: Leftists Hollyweird types have an opinion

Celebrities really believe their opinions matter, especially when it comes to politics.

Last year they tried to convince us to vote for Kamala Harris. Oprah hosted a livestream event for Harris, for which Oprah’s production company was paid $1 million dollars.

Taylor Swift endorsed Harris through an Instagram post. Beyonce endorsed Harris by appearing with her at a rally in Houston. Other celebrities who vocally endorsed Harris: Angela Bassett, Alyssa Milano, Alanis Morisette, Dick Van Dyke, Katy Perry, Will Ferrell, Viola Davis, Katie Couric, Richard Gere, Harrison Ford, Lady Gaga, Smokey Robinson, Reese Witherspoon, Madonna, Don Cheadle, Robert Downey, Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Julia Roberts, LeBron James, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, and plenty more.

Sorry, but the vast majority of Americans didn’t care one bit what these Hollyweird types had to say about the cackling Harris. Rasmussen Reports found that “56% of Likely U.S. Voters say endorsements by celebrities made no difference at all in terms of their vote in the presidential election, while another 19% say such endorsements didn’t make much difference.”

Now that President Trump has started (with a bang) his second term, Trump Derangement Syndrome has left the president living rent free in their heads. And they still believe their opinions matter.

Actor Seth Rogan has a brilliant theory as to why Trump was elected a second term. From Breitbart:

“President Donald Trump’s landslide 2024 election win is a result of “f*cking hippies doing acid and f*cking on their lawns.”

“People get sick of seeing f*cking hippies doing acid and f*cking on their lawns, and they’re like, ‘Let’s f*cking clean up these streets a little bit.’”

The Superbad star went on to imply that the political pendulum is constantly swinging, adding, “And then people get sick of seeing f*cking dorks cleaning up the streets and they go back the other way.”

Astounding analysis, Seth. No wonder your greatest achievement is reading scripts.

Filmmaker, Todd Haynes, thinks we are in a crisis right now because of President Trump. From Variety:

“When asked his thoughts on Trump’s second term at the jury press conference, the “May December” director said bluntly: “We’re in a state of particular crisis right now in the United States, but also globally.”

He continued, “Everyone I know in the United States and friends abroad are witnessing this barrage of actions in the first three weeks of the Trump administration with tremendous concern, shock. I think that’s been part of the strategy, to create a sense of destabilization and shock among the people. So how we proceed toward coalescing different forms of resistance are still in the works and are still being figured out among Democrats. I have no doubt that there will be many people who did in fact vote for this president who will be quickly disillusioned by promises he made about economic stability in the U.S.”

Want to place a bet on that last statement, Todd?

Based on President Trump’s list of executive orders in his first three weeks in office, I’d say he is off and running with a great start!

But what do I know? I’m not a rich celebrity.

What I do know is that the leftists Hollyweird types better buckle up. For them, it’s going to be a long four years.

Insanity: Democrat state representative gets sterilized for fear of Trump’s contraceptives policy

MI state representative Laurie Pohutsky (D)

From American Liberty, Feb. 6, 2025:

Michigan State Representative  (D-Livonia) has revealed that she underwent voluntary sterilization, citing concerns over access to reproductive health care in the United States under President Donald Trump‘s policies.

“Just under two weeks ago, I underwent surgery to ensure that I would never have to navigate a pregnancy in Donald Trump’s America,” Pohutsky stated.

“I refuse to let my body be treated as currency by an administration that only sees value in my ability to procreate,” she added.

Pohutsky articulated her decision in the most dramatic terms possible. “If you know people who are questioning how serious this is, I’m going to repeat myself: A sitting government official opted for voluntary sterilization because she was uncertain she would be able to access contraception in the future.”

Well, sterilizing herself does improve our gene pool!
