OMG. Like the Apollo Astronauts….does this mean we should ALL carry our own rolls of duct tape(& wear cotton socks that can be used) when flying…JUST IN CASE? You know…things I’ve always wondered: 1)why isn’t the whole plane built of what the “black box” is built of?????, and, 2) Why isn’t there a parachute like what we’ve employed on every NASA capsule or even the ‘brakes” of every shuttle on EVERY passenger plane? Pretty much sure everyone who employs an airline seat would pay an extra $100 or so in perpetuity per ticket if they knew that, when the plane was going to terminate them, there was a high percentage that they would survive with a known backup system like this. Sign me up.

We Southern kids grew up on banana sandwiches. We spread peanut butter or mayo on the bread and cut the banana into round slices. Yummy!
We loved it I think its a southern thing. My mom made those back in the 50’s as kids. Thank you for that memory.
I’d patronize that no nonsense coffee place – that’s why I never liked Starbucks. I don’t need a fancy name for a coffee with cream & sugar.

Sorry I missed these on Sunday! I can NOT pick a favorite b/c they are ALL HILARIOUS and all so true to form! Thank you Dr. E….don’t know where you gather such things up, but these were primo 🙂 (But secretly, as a teacher, my heart is with the one “My name is Mark, with a “C”….Dah you all…..this is the way my standard day goes in middle school…I think I need a spa day..WHICH btw, I’ve never done….it’s time.)
