Love “fishing boat for experienced crew!” We rescued 2 wild litters of “Covid cats” for quarantine. (All spayed/ neutered now, tame/lazy in our home or a good home). Two sisters at our house fr same litter, Dolly and Dora, we’ve dubbed, “Mayflower Cats,” (meaning, descendants of seafaring cats deliberately transported here fr Europe on immigrant/ mercantile ships to keep vermin population down—-but whom ended up also eating the seafood brought aboard :). ) b/c, if we bring fresh…or EVEN FROZEN seafood home for dinner, they are THERE within moments begging…we can set a clock to it! None of our other cats care or do this, nor have they ever.

PS….as an after-thought on the last pic, I want you all to know my cats not only do not want me to read alone, like on this humorous post, but do not want me to play the piano, peruse the newspaper alone; but they got really attuned immediately to the digital age of teaching during Covid “zoom” teaching” ( as I had to do for nearly 2 yrs here in CA). I have pics of my cats laying across my keyboard during zoom classes, & “watching” my zoom class kids, w/my cats putting their faces into the camera, etc…. always wanting to be in my lap etc. They were zoom junkies & loved it. My “zoom” students encouraged it w/cooing and rewarding vocals. So, my cats were “there” at the same time, same place, every morning at 7:40 AM when my first class started. HELLO..they do the same thing with the “Chewy” delivery guy. They know the time and date of their “treat” delivery,” and they line up at the screen door. Even the delivery guy is amazed/amused b/c he sees this.
Thank you DrE for these very cute funnies!
The first one says it all for me. I love it.
So good Doc
