Now some placed in Chiraq (courtesy of Gov. Greg Abbott) are ready to head back home. From NY Post:
“Some Venezuelan migrants who trekked thousands of miles to the US in search of a better life are so disheartened, they say they’re already heading back home.
Michael Castejon, 39, told the Chicago Tribune he has had enough after he, his wife and teenage stepdaughter spent five months sleeping either in a police precinct or a crowded city shelter in the now-brutally cold Windy City.
He’s also been unable to secure a job permit or enroll his daughter in a local school — two of the main reasons things they thought would bring a better life in the US. “The American Dream doesn’t exist anymore,” Castejon told the paper on the eve of his family’s departure.
“There’s nothing here for us … We just want to be home,” Castejon told the Tribune of the South American country he earlier fled.”

They are disheartened by the promises democrats couldn’t keep? Did y’all really think they were going to provide every need for you?
Maybe they should have done some research on Biden/demorats and blue cities before making the trip. Could have saved themselves some heartache.

We reap what we sow and so it is here as well. What has been voted in shows how much people care anymore about this country. Or a lot of stolen elections have consequences and we are feeling the effect in every aspect of our lives. Thanks DCG. Good post.

Call me hard-hearted–but I find this to be marvelous news. I mean really . . . who would be so intellectually challenged that they would actually believe that any group of citizens would even have the ability to provide them with: a home, a car, education for their children, health care for their entire family, guaranteed income or a job (when many do not even speak English,) I just hope that the news of their dismal future will spread far and wide among all the people wishing to come and illegally cross our boarder. None, not a one of our ancestors who left their respective countries were greeted by people whose job it was to sign them up for all the kinds of wonderful goodies. They were expected to “put their shoulder to the wheel” and work and earn monies to purchase and build “the American Dream” for themselves. Frankly, if the people that are coming are so weak willed that they cannot fend for themselves–we really do not need them! We have more than enough indigent among our own citizens. All I can say to those who do the right thing and choose to return to their own respective countries is . . . Good By, so long, don’t let the door hit you in the backside on your way out! I am profoundly aware of the fact that I have benefited from the back breaking work performed by my grandfathers and grandmothers that created the wealth which their progenitors have the blessing to share in. All I can say to them is “Thank you, thank you, thank you for loving your family enough to work so hard to take care of them and to amass things that would be passed down through generations to be used as a help and a blessing to us. To those who have made the trek all the way from Venezuela, I can only say, “You got what you voted for,” free everything, until it got to the point where only the communist leaders got all their needs satisfied, and the average citizen was left to starve–yet you have the audacity to sneak into our country and expect to turn us into a “$h*thole” like what you just left by replicating the same failed policies of “free everything for the people.” Just go home, or go somewhere else, and take your ignorant political ideals with you–we do not need you, and we do not need people who espouse these ideals. We need people who will come legally, and be willing to work their butts off to build this nation, and subsequently build their own American Dream.
