The creation of a black hole is my favorite, but I like them all.

Loved the ones about “the black hole” and about “patience and wisdom.” Both of them could happen at my house at any given time….or not.

PS..My mom died, leaving enough to take care of her final needs, & arrange to fly me/my kids across country to bury/ memorialize her at our ancestral plot. There was some left. I spent it taking in 2 (ever-occurring) pregnant feral mother cats into my den fr our rural backyard…& when they birthed, spaying/ neutering kittens & moms. We intended to find good homes for them, all spayed/neutered w/shots. We wanted to stop a bad cycle of dumped cats on our rural property. But it was literally the week Covid hit when the kittens were ready to be given to new homes. Plus, I had Covid myself. We could not invite people into our home to adopt, nor did we know how local shelters were going to respond or how people could interact w/local shelters during quarantine. It was all new territory. The front end of the Covid quarantine was so absent of facts/expectations. As a result, we just kept our cats safe. We are now a “cat house of Our Covid Cats.” Our neighbors, community, even the post office personnel, know about our Covid Cats and are emotionally/socially supportive, NOT judgmental of our raft of Covid Cats. The wild, spayed, mothers left us as soon as they could get outside..but the kittens were ours. Some of them (4) are “in & out” cats (out on our fenced property by day, but in & safe by night) & some of them, sadly, disappeared as soon as they chose to be outside cats ( at least 4 of them),but the rest, residue of 2 litters, are ours inside 100% of the time, along with our 12-yr-old bottle rescue, & 2 rescue brothers nearing 10 yrs. old. Thankfully, my husband is recently retired, & his “new job” is to feed/water/brush/clean the “kids” every day, twice a day, & take care of the litter boxes/daily vacuuming . When our last of 3 beloved nurturing Lab dogs had to leave us in old age/disease, one of these most recent “Covid Cats,” that she “mothered,” Dolly, ( the Doll-Baby Tuxedo female w/patches of calico) attached herself to my husband day & night, comforting him, trying to fill an empty space, which she did admirably. We count ourselves blessed, not burdened by this out of ordinary turn of events that gave us our “Covid Cats.”
The one about the kitty being on “the pill” is just hilarious. I loved it.
They are all good Doc the patience and wisdom is really good.
The first one is my favorite, but they’re all great.
China’s surveillance balloon not doing well:

God bless you, CalGirl, for your kindness to God’s creatures. 💕💕💕
