When the truth hurts too much

Cognitive dissonance is a major impediment to waking people up from hypnotic indoctrination.

Dear friends, I want to state this briefly. My silence on the site is due to my own cognitive dissonance. During my active phase online I boldly opposed the Left and the Democrats. I saw the lines drawn between reliable conservative and obvious leftists. At a certain moment I became aware of more factors in our battle than I was prepared for.

For instance, I thought the Bush family was okay, and even favorable to our cause. I was not ready to see a convincing case made against Bush Senior, Bush Junior and Junior’s brother. However, at this time I have seen compelling evidence of Senior’s involvement in the murder of JFK and the attempt to murder President Reagan. I have also seen compelling arguments made of Junior’s connection to the 9-11 attacks.

Some of you are asking how it took so long for me to get this. Again, cognitive dissonance is my answer. Like so many who can’t recognize the obvious, I found that even entertaining the thought was too painful. I see this is also in the hypnotic spell people are under regarding Covid 19 and vaccinations.

Being a friend of many Jews in my life, I also couldn’t deal with the truth about the Khazarian Mafia (aka the “synagogue of Satan”, those who say they are jews but are not). Well, I still love my Jewish friends, and am thrilled with the existence of the nation of Israel, even though many bad people were involved in its restoration. The Bible clearly says that the nation of Israel will exist again, and that it is NOT because the Jews are righteous, but because God’ promises are trustworthy.

It took a long time for me to resolve my opinions and recalculate my understandings, feel ready to speak again.

What has never shaken is my confidence in the Lord and in His Word. If I couldn’t get the straight truth on TV or online, I could get the truth by opening my Bible and being instructed by the Holy Spirit.

So there it is. And this was the brief version; you wouldn’t want to sit through the long version.

Apple workers threaten to QUIT in protest over going back to the office up to three days a week by May because they ‘don’t want to deal with the commute’

“Apple employees are just a little over a week from their mandatory return-to-office date, but some say they plan to quit in protest because they ‘don’t want to deal with the commute’ or ‘sit around for eight hours a day.’

All US staff will have to return to the office at least one day a week starting April 11, according to a memo sent by Apple CEO Tim Cook in March. By May 23, employees will be required to be in the office at least three days a week. 

But some employees say they’d rather quit than return to the office, the New York Post reported. 

‘I don’t give a single f*** about ever coming back to work here,’ an employee ranted on anonymous corporate message board Blind this week. ‘It was a great resume boost but it’s not for me,’ the worker added.   

Several Apple employees expressed their frustration about the new policy, and many commenters supported them, saying ‘yeah, f*** Apple.’ 

‘I’m going to go in to say hello and meet everyone since I haven’t since I started and then sending in my resignation when I get home,’ the same employee wrote. ‘I already know I won’t be able to deal with the commute and sitting around for 8 hours.’  

Other Apple workers complained about what they believe is Apple’s unfair policy, which they pointed out is stricter than other tech companies, including Google, Amazon and Meta.

One employee wrote that they were already in the final stages of interviews with other companies due to Apple’s new policy. Another said, ‘Totally bummed and looking into full remote jobs now.’

Obesity is not “body posivity”

For decades the “body positivity” movement has focused on having society accept all shapes and sizes of women, while maintaining a healthy body.

Unfortunately, our society has become more “woke” with regards to “body positivity” and therefore more adept at blurring the lines of reality, with ill regard for the health consequences of obesity.

The latest to blur the line of reality is rapper/singer Lizzo with her new line of shapewear entitled, “Yitty.”

Lizzo is launching a new line of shapewear in mid-April. Her statement regarding the new line: “Instead of thinking about size in this linear way, we’re thinking about it on a spectrum where everyone is included. Everyone’s size is just their size. It’s not high, it’s not low. It’s not big, it’s not small. It’s just your size.“

The singer’s shapewear line will feature sizes 6X to XS.

Ladies, there is nothing absolutely positive about obesity. And your “size” can be high. 

In reality, doctors measure your height and weight to determine if you are overweight (or obese) and need to drop some pounds. Your clothes size can also be a very clear sign that you are getting overweight.

Doctors also will measure your BMI. See the CDC standards for BMI and how one can determine if they are overweight/obese here.

There are many side effects of being overweight/obese: High blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, many types of cancer, and even severe illness if you contract COVID. See the CDC web page on the health effects of being overweight/obese here.

So please quit lying to us, Rizzo. Your size can be high and it can be big. So big in fact, that it could be deadly.

An engineering feat: The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge

On March 18 the 1915 Canakkale Bridge opened in Turkey. The bridge is the world’s longest suspension bridge (6,637 feet) and was constructed in five years.

According to the Daily Mail, the bridge connects the European and Asian shores of the Dardanelles Strait – a key waterway – from Gelibolu on the European side of Turkey’s northwestern province of Canakkale, with the town of Lapseki on the Asian side.

The bridge allows travellers to cross the Dardanelles – which connects the Aegean Sea with the Sea of Marmara – in just six minutes compared to the previous 90 minutes by ferry, a journey that including waiting times could extend to five hours.

Sunday Devotional: Live as Children of Light

Ephesians 5:8-14

Brothers and sisters:
You were once darkness,
but now you are light in the Lord.
Live as children of light,
for light produces every kind of goodness
and righteousness and truth.
Try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
Take no part in the fruitless works of darkness;
rather expose them, for it is shameful even to mention
the things done by them in secret;
but everything exposed by the light becomes visible,
for everything that becomes visible is light.
Therefore, it says:
“Awake, O sleeper,
and arise from the dead,
and Christ will give you light.”

Today’s reading reminds me of a feature in many near-death experiences (NDEs), which is that often, the experience begins with the individual seeing a bright (but not blinding) light. Sometimes, the individual encounters what is described as a “being of light” of great love.

In contrast are the few reports of unpleasant near-death experiences (few because, I suspect, those with such experiences are ashamed to report them), notably that of Bill Clinton who underwent a quadruple bypass cardiac surgery in September 2004. In an interview on ABC’s “Primetime Live,” he said that during his heart operation, “I saw, like, dark masks crushing, like, death masks being crushed, in series, and then I’d see these great circles of light and then, like, Hillary’s picture or Chelsea’s face would appear on the light, and then they’d fly off into the dark.” (Free Republic)
