Democrats appear to endorse forced abortion

Demorats never met an abortion they didn’t like. Apparently that also includes forced abortions.

A mother in Louisiana obtained abortion pills online for her then 17-year-old daughter from a Dr. Margaret Carpenter in New York. According to NOLA, the pregnant teen was going to have the baby but the mother of the teen conspired with the good doctor to obtain the abortion pill. The mother then coerced the pregnant teen to take the pill. The teen girl accepted the ultimatum despite initially pleading to keep the baby.

The mother obtained the abortion pill by completing a questionnaire and Dr. Carpenter fulfilled the prescription without a direct consultation.

From Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry:

“A minor in Louisiana got pregnant. She was excited to have a baby and was planning a gender reveal party. Her mom conspired with a NY doctor to get a chemical abortion pill in the mail and coerced her to take it. She ended up in the hospital. There is only one right answer in this situation: the doctor must face extradition to Louisiana where justice will be served. We owe this to the minor and the innocent life lost.”

District Attorney for Iberville, Tony Clayton, believes there is clear evidence of a crime as a West Baton Rouge Parish grand jury indicted Dr. Carpenter and the girl’s mother for criminal abortion by means of abortion-inducing drugs, a new law passed last year by Shreveport Republican state Sen. Thomas Pressly.

Louisiana prosecutors and Gov. Jeff Landry want to extradite Dr. Carpenter, yet Gov. Kathy Hochul has declined to comply with the extradition order.  From NY Post:

“Carpenter and her company, Nightingale Medical, PC, also face the same charge — but have evaded arrest thanks to Hochul’s refusal to comply with Lousiana’s extradition orders submitted Thursday.

“I want to make sure everyone in the state knows: Keep your hands off this doctor,” Hochul said upon receiving the paperwork.

“I’m respecting the laws of New York. Am I supposed to make those subservient to laws of another state?” 

New York Attorney General Letitia James also piled on, calling the indictment a “cowardly attempt out of Louisiana to weaponize the law against out-of-state providers,” adding that the indictment is “unjust and un-American.”

You know what else is unjust? Forcing a girl to go against her will and kill her baby. It appears these demorats are now supporting forced abortions. They are in good company, I guess.

What a sword to die on. Literally.

They just don’t get it: Leftists Hollyweird types have an opinion

Celebrities really believe their opinions matter, especially when it comes to politics.

Last year they tried to convince us to vote for Kamala Harris. Oprah hosted a livestream event for Harris, for which Oprah’s production company was paid $1 million dollars.

Taylor Swift endorsed Harris through an Instagram post. Beyonce endorsed Harris by appearing with her at a rally in Houston. Other celebrities who vocally endorsed Harris: Angela Bassett, Alyssa Milano, Alanis Morisette, Dick Van Dyke, Katy Perry, Will Ferrell, Viola Davis, Katie Couric, Richard Gere, Harrison Ford, Lady Gaga, Smokey Robinson, Reese Witherspoon, Madonna, Don Cheadle, Robert Downey, Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Julia Roberts, LeBron James, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, and plenty more.

Sorry, but the vast majority of Americans didn’t care one bit what these Hollyweird types had to say about the cackling Harris. Rasmussen Reports found that “56% of Likely U.S. Voters say endorsements by celebrities made no difference at all in terms of their vote in the presidential election, while another 19% say such endorsements didn’t make much difference.”

Now that President Trump has started (with a bang) his second term, Trump Derangement Syndrome has left the president living rent free in their heads. And they still believe their opinions matter.

Actor Seth Rogan has a brilliant theory as to why Trump was elected a second term. From Breitbart:

“President Donald Trump’s landslide 2024 election win is a result of “f*cking hippies doing acid and f*cking on their lawns.”

“People get sick of seeing f*cking hippies doing acid and f*cking on their lawns, and they’re like, ‘Let’s f*cking clean up these streets a little bit.’”

The Superbad star went on to imply that the political pendulum is constantly swinging, adding, “And then people get sick of seeing f*cking dorks cleaning up the streets and they go back the other way.”

Astounding analysis, Seth. No wonder your greatest achievement is reading scripts.

Filmmaker, Todd Haynes, thinks we are in a crisis right now because of President Trump. From Variety:

“When asked his thoughts on Trump’s second term at the jury press conference, the “May December” director said bluntly: “We’re in a state of particular crisis right now in the United States, but also globally.”

He continued, “Everyone I know in the United States and friends abroad are witnessing this barrage of actions in the first three weeks of the Trump administration with tremendous concern, shock. I think that’s been part of the strategy, to create a sense of destabilization and shock among the people. So how we proceed toward coalescing different forms of resistance are still in the works and are still being figured out among Democrats. I have no doubt that there will be many people who did in fact vote for this president who will be quickly disillusioned by promises he made about economic stability in the U.S.”

Want to place a bet on that last statement, Todd?

Based on President Trump’s list of executive orders in his first three weeks in office, I’d say he is off and running with a great start!

But what do I know? I’m not a rich celebrity.

What I do know is that the leftists Hollyweird types better buckle up. For them, it’s going to be a long four years.

It’s going to snow down south (and the world is ending) funnies!

Here in Oklahoma our weather forecast is calling for icy weather and snow this week, starting tomorrow. If you’ve ever lived down south, you know this is a major disturbance in southerners’ lives.

I grew up in the Seattle area so am quite use to a lot of rain and a little bit of snow. Must admit, up in Seattle there are many snow wussies, too.  But down south, there are many who just refuse to get out in the snow. But that is for a good reason: Most cannot drive in the snow at all.

So grocery stores were busy today. Everyone stocking up before armageddon!

Newsom’s solution to prevent homes from burning? Ban plants/shrubs within five feet of homes

You have to wonder how long California and the Los Angeles area will put up with the most feckless and incompetent leadership that they have ever elected.

After the California wildfires that devastated so many people, Gov. Newsom signed an executive order enacting new wildfire prevention rules.  Homeowners are now required to clear flammable materials (including mulch, bushes and plants) except for mature trees within five feet of their homes.

According to Newsweek, state officials and researchers claim that embers are responsible for 90 percent of structures destroyed by wildfire.

Clearing plants five feet around houses will stop this ferocious fire?

Given that the Santa Ana winds can blow up to 100 miles per hour, you have to wonder how not planting bushes within five feet from one’s house will actually save a structure.

I mean, I don’t believe that lawns and flower beds are what fueled the catastrophic fires to begin with. You know what did? A combination of ineptitude among many, many leaders.

First, there’s the Los Angeles Mayor, Karen Bass. Despite the National Weather Service warning of the potential for extreme fire conditions, the good mayor decided to take a taxpayer-funded trip to Ghana to attend the inauguration of their president. Once she learned of the disaster unfolding in her city, she headed back to the USA. Stone-cold silent she was as areas of Los Angeles went up in flames.

Another thing that fueled the fires? Not. Having. Water.

Santa Ynez reservoir: EMPTY at the time of fires.

Instead of being full of water, as a reservoir should be in a fire-prone area, the reservoir sat empty, leaving water supplies and hydrants dry after hours of intense firefighting. The reservoir sat empty for a year after a tear was discovered in its rubber-like protective cover. But no worries, leaders at the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power are now hiring an independent engineer to assess whether the empty reservoir contributed to the failure of its water system during the Palisades fire.

Mayor Bass nominated LADWP CEO Janisse Quiñones with an annual salary of $750,000. Janisse knew about the empty reservoir and broken hydrants months before the fires. Quiñones past employer is also linked to fire scandals. She was previously a top executive at electricity company PG&E, which went bankrupt over liability for several massive wildfires in California.

Another failure of leadership at LADWP to provide water to known fire zone areas during a wildfire event.

Failure at so many levels and to date, no accountability for any of their actions. But you, homeowner, better not plant a rosebush for grandma by her front door! No pretty flowerbeds along your front window sills!

No doubt Newsom’s executive order will ensure that the wind can only blow burning embers four and a half feet or less. You democrats never learn…

More winning: AG Bondi orders DOJ to pause federal funding for sanctuary cities

Yesterday, Pam Bondi was sworn in as Attorney General of the United States. She immediately went to work for President Trump and the American people who voted for him.

The Blaze reports that hours after taking her role, AG Bondi directed the Department of Justice to halt federal funding to sanctuary cities. Fox News reports: “Bondi also has directed the DOJ to identify and evaluate all funding agreements with nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) that provide support to illegal aliens. She is also directing litigating components of the Justice Department to investigate instances of jurisdictions that are impeding law enforcement, and directing they be prosecuted, when necessary.”

Pay attention, democrats. You are now on notice.

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker

Gov. Pritzker has vowed to “stand in the way’’ of certain Trump deportation policies, including those targeting “law-abiding’’ illegal migrants. From NY Post:

“When we’re talking about violent criminals who’ve been convicted and who are undocumented, we don’t want them in our state,” Pritzker, 60, told CNN’s “State of the Union.” “We want them out of the country.

“We hope they do get deported,” he said, referring to Trump’s policy of targeting illegal migrant criminals first under his mass deportation plan.

But “we also have a law in the books in Illinois that says that our local law enforcement will stand up for those law-abiding undocumented people in our state,” he said.

Hey, fat boy: If people are in the country illegally they are not “law-abiding.”

Democrat governor Tina Kotek

Oregon’s governor, Tina Kotek, has also declared she will fight our federal immigration laws. From WJAC:

“Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek said in a video posted Sunday she will uphold state law prohibiting government officials and police from helping federal authorities with enforcing immigration laws.

“I will uphold Oregon’s sanctuary promise laws – laws that were passed with almost unanimous bipartisan support in the 1980s,” she said in the message shared on social media platform X.

Oregon passed a law in 1987 barring police from taking into custody people who aren’t U.S. citizens if their only offense is being in the U.S. illegally. Currently, the state prohibits public agencies from collaborating with the federal government to enforce immigration laws.”

Plenty of other democrat governors plan to fight President Trump on this issue. Be prepared, governors, for your state’s cities to quickly lose access to federal tax-payer dollars.

You may believe that your “resistance” is going to win. But make no mistake: There’s a new and hardened President Trump in office. One that is ready to “fight, fight, fight!”

Trump proves liberals wrong: Threat of tariffs is one way to play hardball

President Trump continues to make good on his promise to protect America’s borders.

Last week he threatened several countries that have been complacent in allowing the invasion of America (both illegal aliens and drugs, particulary fentynal). Trump threateded Columbia, Venezuela, Mexico, Canada and China with tariffs if they didn’t help control their own borders, accept back their citizens, and work to stop the flow of drugs.

Liberals immediately screamed about how the tariffs would be devastating for Americans and that we were all going to face the wrath of tariffs through higher prices at the grocery store and the pump.

A couple days later and President Trump proves them wrong, as usual.

Columbia caved to Trump’s tariffs and agreed to accept their criminal illegal aliens as well as provide transportation for them to get back home.

Venezuela caved and agreed to accept the country’s illegal aliens living in the U.S. Bonus: Six American hostages held in that country were returned to us.

Mexico has now caved as well. From LA Times:

“Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, in a post on X, said she spoke to the American leader Monday morning and that they came to an accord that delays for at least a month Trump’s threat of 25% tariffs on all Mexican goods imported to the United States.

In exchange, she said Mexico had agreed to reinforce its northern border with 10,000 members of its national guard in order to combat migration and the trafficking of illegal drugs.”

Canada, being that the government is full of progressive moonbats, believes they can win the game against President Trump. Not everyone, especially those who run a real business, agree. From NY Post:

“The CEO of Canada’s second-largest publicly traded company says Canadians want their government to do all the things that President Trump is demanding — and slammed outgoing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for not preventing the trade war.

“Canada thrives when it works with America together. Win by helping America win. Trump believes that Canada has not held its side of the bargain,” Tobi Lutke, who co-founded Shopify, wrote on X.

“These are things that every Canadian wants its government to do, too. These are not crazy demands, even if they came from an unpopular source. These tariffs are going to be devastating to so many people’s lives and small businesses.”

Time will tell if Canada will go the way of the South American countries and work with Trump to stop the inflow of immigrants and drugs at our northern border.

Justin Trudeau Caves to President Trump on Tariff Showdown – Will Implement Massive Border Plan to Stop Flow of Fentanyl

“Trudeau announced a short time ago that he will implement their own massive border plan to stop fentanyl, which has killed perhaps millions of Americans. Like Mexico, this includes 10,000 frontline personnel but also so much more. In the meantime, tariffs will be delayed.”

These countries better get use to the new sheriff in charge of the U.S.A. They aren’t going to be dealing with ‘ol senile Joe anymore. President Trump is playing hardball. And he’s bound and determined to win for the American citizens.

How to lift up women in the Trump administration, according to democrats

If the left didn’t have double standards, they wouldn’t have any at all.

Case in point: They love to claim they support women, giving us advice on how to lift each other up, not tear women down. Back in 2022 at the Power Women Summit, Hillary Clinton called for empathy and respect among women, encouraging women to “lift each other up.”

But that never applies to republican or conservative women. And now that President Trump and First Lady Melania are back in the White House, that rule of theirs to “lift up women” is out the door, again.

First target of attack is Melania Trump. From the women’s magazine, Vogue (via Todd Starnes’ tweet):

“Melania Trump Cosplays The Apprentice in Her Official White House Portrait,” read the snarky headline. Writer Hannah Jackson blasted Mrs. Trump’s power pose, her wardrobe and the black & white image photographed by Régine Mahaux.

“Trump looked more like she was guest starring on an episode of The Apprentice than assuming the role of first lady of the United States,” Jackson wrote. “Trump’s clothing certainly didn’t help the boardroom pastiche. The first lady wore a black Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo jacket with satin-trimmed lapels over a white button-up, which she paired with a Ralph Lauren cummerbund and trousers,” the writer sneered. “The choice to wear a tuxedo—as opposed to a blazer or blouse—made Trump look more like a freelance magician than a public servant.”

Next up for attack: Former Governor of South Dakota and current Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem.

Kristi went on some ICE raids and MSNBC host (and racist) Joy Reid had some thoughts about how to “uplift” the Secretary. From RealClearPolitics:

MSNBC Joy Reid on ICE raids: “Reckless and also, I mean, as I’ve said, performative. I mean, I want to show you an image of Kristi Noem, the — who was just confirmed, the former governor who was confirmed as a Department of Homeland Security. I mean, it’s as if she’s cosplaying. It’s almost a game where she seems to be cosplaying as, I’m not sure what she thinks that she’s portraying here. She might as well be at Comic Con looking like this.”

The democrats didn’t learn a darn thing from last year’s election of President Trump. Americans voted for him for a radical change from the disasterous four years under Biden.

And we welcome and applaud the strong women he has chosen to lead in his administration. You can try tearing down these women all you want, democrats. We’ll continue to lift them up and be very proud of them!

There’s a new sheriff in town and legacy media weeps

Legacy media (or arm of the DNC as they often act) is dead. A self-inflicted mortal would that, one could say, began when Obama became president. They slobbered over the first black president and couldn’t hide their glee for him.

As President Trump began his first term, full-blown Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) inflicted every liberal and progressive media outlet. And we all know about their pushing every hoax under the sun to prevent him from getting re-elected.

Under the Biden administration, legacy media did all they could to protect the senile man. Despite crumbling ratings, they tried to back the old horse for as long as they could. And they lost all credibility.

Fast-forward to November 2024 and after four disasterous years of Biden, Americans had enough. We elected a new sheriff to run this country.

President Trump and his administration are playing hardball this term and setting new rules and guidelines to control the agenda they promised Americans.

Yesterday press secretary Karoline Leavitt held her first briefing and it was spectacular in many ways. She announced major changes to the press room and how this administration will be more welcoming to alternative press outlets.

As reported by Fox News, Leavitt announced the Trump administration was rolling out major changes to make room for newer, less traditional media voices in the briefing room.

Leavitt told reporters these changes were being made to keep in line with President Donald Trump’s “revolutionary media approach” that he deployed during his campaign in speaking to popular podcast hosts and social media influencers. From the report:

“In keeping with this revolutionary media approach that President Trump deployed during the campaign, the Trump White House will speak to all media outlets and personalities, not just the legacy media who are seated in this room,” she began before citing Gallup polls showing Americans’ low confidence in the mainstream media.

“Millions of Americans, especially young people, have turned from traditional television outlets and newspapers to consume their news from podcasts, blogs, social media and other independent outlets,” Leavitt continued. “It’s essential to our team that we share President Trump‘s message everywhere and adapt this White House to the new media landscape in 2025.”

Leavitt announced steps the Trump administration was taking to accomplish this, beginning with restoring the press passes for 440 journalists whose passes she said “were wrongly revoked” by the Biden administration.

The briefing room will also now be opened up to “new media voices who produce news-related content” and outlets who haven’t been welcomed into the briefing room previously, she said.”

After Karoline’s first briefing today, you can see she is going to handle the press in a boss way. Watch a clip:

Karoline also told the press corp that they need to hold themselves to the same standard of truth they hold the White House. And she did this whole briefing without a “binder” or a “circle back.”

Don’t hold your breath that the legacy media will accept this “truth” challenge. They can’t help themselves due to their TDS. Adieu, legacy media. You deserve this cancellation.

How is this possible? Gen Z brands the omelette as “stressful” to cook

If your parents never taught you how to cook eggs, you’d only have to attempt it a few times (or Google it) before you’d learn the golden rule of cooking them: “Low and slow.”

Apparently, attempting this simple act is to “stressful” for the youth of Gen Z.

From the Daily Mail:

“Nearly two thirds of Gen Z adults admit they lack basic cooking skills – with around 61 per cent of those surveyed saying they do not know how to cook an omelette.

A study by dating app FindingTheOne has revealed that young adults aged between 18 and 28 prefer eating at a restaurant or takeaway because they do not know how to cook. The poll surveyed 1,500 participants across different age groups and showed a growing number of young people who are useless in the kitchen.

Nearly 64 per cent of Gen Z respondents said they prefer dining out because they ‘can’t cook’. 

Just under half described the act of cooking as ‘stressful’ and said the anxiety about cooking is what often caused the reliance on takeaways and restaurant meals. Even simple meals seemed to be a struggle for many, 42 per cent said they could not cook a stir-fry and 27 per cent said they struggled to make soup.

Shockingly even omelettes, which at their most basic feature just one ingredient proved a problem for 61 per cent of Gen Z adults in the survey.

One in four also admitted to deception, passing off food which was ordered in from a restaurant or takeaway as a home-cooked meal. 

More complex meals seemed entirely out of reach for most, with more than 80 per cent saying they wouldn’t know where to start for cooking lasagne or roast chicken.

One Gen Z participant, 23-year-old student Mia, said: ‘I feel like a lot of us just didn’t grow up in kitchens the way older generations did. Plus, with food delivery apps and ready meals I can just stick in the microwave, it’s easier to get by without cooking. 

‘But when it comes to dating, I’ll admit it’s a little embarrassing. I wouldn’t dare invite someone over for a home-cooked meal unless I had help.”

You’d think that growing up as a “digital native,” one would be able to quickly search on YouTube for an easy omelette recipe. Here you go, kids: A 1:30 minute recipe for cooking a super easy omelette!

PS: If the omelette shape doesn’t turn out properly, they just easily turn into scrambled eggs!

Back in my high school days, I took Home Ec where I learned the basics of cooking, baking and sewing. These days, home economics classes are much less common in public education as bureaucrats have been more focused on critical race theory, gender ideology, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

President Trump is bound to change that. He desires a more focused public education system where states have local control. Hopefully his administration can implement the changes needed that will enable common sense teachings and, more importantly, critical life skills.

One week into his presidency, Trump moving fast to cleanup Biden’s mess

Is your head reeling yet from trying to keep up with President’s Trumps actions and executive orders in the first week of his presidency? He’s out of the gate this term and is ready to Make America Great Again.

To help keep up, the White House has a list of Trump’s historic actions in his first 100 hours. A portion of the list:

  • President Trump is already securing the border and arresting criminal illegal immigrants.
  • The Border Patrol is reporting a significant drop already in attempted illegal crossings.
  • The Trump Administration immediately shut down the CBP One app, which “paroled” over 1 million illegal immigrants.
  • Deportation flights have already started and the military is assisting with the effort.
  • President Trump signed a series of executive orders ensuring the elimination of discriminatory DEI practices and ensuring merit-based hiring.
  • DEI staff are being placed on leave.
  • The Federal Aviation Administration must now return to merit-based hiring.
  • President Donald Trump signed an executive order telling agencies to stop remote work practices and directing workers to return to the office.
  • President Trump withdrew the United States from the disastrous Paris Climate Agreement that unfairly ripped off our country.
  • President Trump paused all new federal leasing and permitting for massive wind farms that degrade our natural landscapes and fail to serve American energy consumers.

Over the weekend, Trump’s administration was busy playing hardball.

Border Czar Tom Homan

First, they targeted the members from the violent Venezuala TdA gang. From Twitchy:

“In a joint operation with the ATF, ICE, and local law enforcement, DEA agents raided a party in a suburban Denver warehouse. Agents seized drugs, weapons, and cash and took nearly 50 suspected illegal gang members into custody. The federal party crashers said the warehouse was being used as a makeshift nightclub where the notorious Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, or TdA, was hosting an invitation-only party.”

Next, Columbian President Gustavo Petro learned real quick that President Trump is not going to rollover.

Early Sunday, Petro tried denying entry to US military deportation flights carrying Columbia citizens (including illegal criminals) removed from the US. Swiftly, President Trump issued a harsh response to Petro that included:

  • Emergency 25% tariffs on all goods coming into the United States. In one week, the 25% tariffs will be raised to 50%.
  • A Travel Ban and immediate Visa Revocations on the Colombian Government Officials, and all Allies and Supporters.
  • Visa Sanctions on all Party Members, Family Members, and Supporters of the Colombian Government.

Within an hour, Petro reversed course by sending Columbia’s presidential plane to collect Colombian deportees earlier barred from landing. Read the all the details about this here.

And last night Border Czar Homan was on the ground with ICE in the sanctuary city of Chicago to arrest an illegal alien child sex offender. Dr. Phil was along for the arrest, apparently to film this for some future show for his  MeritTV.

What a difference one week under President Trump makes compared to the feckless incompetence of the last four years. America is back, baby!

I can hardly wait for what may happen this week!
