ESPN fires woman who speaks truth

Sam Ponder: Standing up for women’s sports.

ESPN, owned by the ultra-woke Walt Disney Company, hates women. And truth.

Yesterday, ESPN fired anchor Sam Ponder in order to “cut significant costs.”

The real reason Sam was probably let go is because she has the audacity to call out the inclusion of “trans women,” aka men, being allowed to play in women’s sports.

According to Outkick, Sam was the only woman at ESPN who defended women’s sports. From their article:

“Ponder had emerged as the only female voice inside Disney since Sage Steele’s departure to speak out against “trans women” (as in men) competing in women’s sports.

Most recently, Ponder posted “XY= male XX= female” in response to the International Olympic Committee permitting Imane Khelif, who has XY chromosomes, to box against women in the 2024 Olympics.

Ponder first commented on the issue in May 2023, reminding her followers that it is “not hateful to demand fairness in sports for girls.”

“I barely said anything publicly abt this issue & I’ve had so many ppl msg me, stop me in the street to say thank you+ tell me stories abt girls who are afraid to speak up for fear of lost employment/being called hateful,” Ponder added.”

Of course Sam has been called a “bigot” for her opinion that biological men do not belong in women’s sports. She’s also a Christian. Kudos to her for speaking the truth.

It is not bigoted to demand that women’s sports remain a women-only space.

Yet we don’t live in normal times right now.  It’s like we are living in “Nineteen Eighty-Four.”

“It’s the economy, stupid”

Truer words were never spoken when it comes to elections.

The media is working overtime to gaslight the people into voting for the “chosen one,” Kamala Harris, by claiming the U.S. is not in a recession.

Yesterday the stock market took a hard punch. It fell by 2%, the worst drop since 2022. If you want to keep your blood pressure normal, don’t check your 401(k) and investment account balances right now.

Intel announced on Friday that it was laying off 15% of its workforce. This comes months after the Biden administration gave Intel $8.5 billion in grants to help bring back chipmaking to the U.S. Great job, Biden, by “spurring processor manufacturing in the US.”

Within the past year Nike has laid off 5% of their workforce. This combined with Intel’s layoffs, was a hard hit for the progressive-run state of Oregon.

Last September I wrote about CVS closing 900 stores noting that America is in decline, particularly in democrat-run cities. As a result, our nation is (still) facing the following:

  • Increased inflation
  • Increased debt (both for the nation and many individual households)
  • Increased crime with soft-on-punishment policies
  • Open borders with thousands of illegal aliens arriving daily as well as drugs (particularly fentanyl) pouring into our cities

If you think things will get better with the new Harris/Walz ticket, think again. Tim Walz is a hardcore leftist who recently stated on a “White Dudes for Harris” get-together: “One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.”

Another story of biological men stealing opportunities from women. And still crickets from the feminists.

“Transgender athletes swept the board in a 1-2-3 at a prestigious women’s cycle race over the weekend, infuriating fans and leaving female competitors in the shade.

Every medalist in the elite women’s Madison at Washington’s Marymore (actually Marymoor) Grand Prix on Friday had a trans athlete on the two–person team, marking the first time trans women are known to have had a place on every podium spot in a race.

Race venue the Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome in Redmond warns it will not tolerate ‘bullying or derogatory comments especially related to race, creed, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, physical or mental disability’.

But the sight of the heavily-built winners towering over their rivals and teammates on the podium has dismayed fans of the sport. ‘This is so egregious I can’t imagine how people watched this happen and thought this was ok,’ wrote one.

Leading the field was Jordan Lothrop who was achieving podium finishes against men in the Victoria Cycling League in her native Canada as recently as last year. The sailing fan from British Columbia has worked as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist and was ranked 22nd in the men’s Victoria Cycling League this time in 2023.

Second place went to Jenna Lingwood, 43, who raced as a man until 2017 and is now a member of the Oregon-based women’s cyclocross squad Team S&M.

Taking third spot was Californian Eva Lin, 28, who used to race as Henry Lin for San Jose State University’s men’s team, but whose placings have soared since she switched to its women’s team in 2022.”

How convenient that these men competing at an amateur level need only complete a “self-identity verification request.”

Until women stop putting up with allowing men to compete in their categories, they can kiss their wins goodbye.

Joe is out; Kamala to make the top ticket?

Hoo boy, what a week in politics!

This afternoon, Ol’ Joe did the inevitable, he dropped out of the 2024 race. I predicted this would happen once we heard rumors that Barack Obama deemed Biden unable to “achieve a patch to victory.”

Biden didn’t give a specific reason as to why he’s dropping out but we all know the reason(s) why he’s doing this. Here’s part of what his Tweet said:

“While it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” Biden wrote in a letter posted on X. “I will speak to the Nation later this week in more detail about my decision.”

Biden went on to endorse Kamala Harris for the demorat nomination. Lucky us…

Democrats think you are stupid…

After Biden’s disasterous debate performance, the mask is off.

We’ve known for several years that Biden has some cognitive issues. We can clearly see this every time he opens his mouth.

Yet the democrats (media, Hollyweird, liberal pundits, etc.) were pushing another narrative and protecting Biden because OrangeManBad.

Two months ago, this was actor Michael Douglas praising Biden as being “sharp as a tack.”

Flash forward to today and Douglas has had a change of heart (along with actor George Clooney, who just raised money for Biden at a fundraiser). Douglas now says, “the Democratic party needs to “get it in sync, you know, just for a candidate.”

My how the winds have shifted once the truth is now allowed to be said.

Just how long will Biden hold on? Will Dr. Jill be able to drag him across the finish line?

Democrats really think you are stupid. Turns out they are too stupid to realize that we will not give into their essential command.

Illegal alien indicted on rape released on $500 bail

Cory Alvarez, an illegal from Haiti, is accused (and now indicted) of raping a disabled 15-year-old at a Massachusetts shelter. He’s been released on bail — despite a request from federal immigration officials to keep him in jail.

The perp was arrested in March and held without bail until he was freed on a $500 bail last week after the Plymouth County Superior Court ignored a request from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to keep the suspect in custody.

The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office requested that Alvarez be held on $10,000 cash bail with numerous conditions of release. The judge set bail at $500.

The good judge released the perp with an ankle monitor, but ICE officials can’t track him because Boston is a sanctuary city — meaning local authorities don’t have to cooperate with the feds.

The suspect was also ordered to remain in home confinement, surrender his passport and check in twice monthly with probation, according to legal filings obtained by the Globe. He is due back in court on Aug. 13.

Federal immigration authorities said in March that they had filed an immigration detainer against Alvarez with the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office. However, a spokesperson for the enforcement and removal operations division of ICE told the Globe that Plymouth Superior Court officials “refused to honor” its detainer.

The perp came to the US in June 2023 under President Biden’s parole program for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans (CHNV).

Trudeau’s Canada: Citizens with long-term pain claim it’s easier to get euthanasia

This will come as no surprise…

Canada legalized euthanasia in 2016 through their Medical Assistance in Dying  (MAID) program. There were 13,241 MAID deaths reported in Canada in 2022, a thirty percent increase from 2021.

“Canada has long faced criticism for its ultra-permissive euthanasia system, with 4.1 percent of all deaths aided by doctors.

Now, it faces fresh outrage from woefully sick people who say it’s easier to get lethal injections than it is to access the ‘medicine’ they need.

In two bombshell moments this month, sufferers of cognitive problems said they’d struggled to get the ‘magic mushroom’ cures that ease their suffering.

Meanwhile, they bemoaned how euthanasia is only getting easier to access.

Noted veteran Kelsi Sheren went public with a call for easier access to plant therapies for traumatized ex-combatants. ‘Why is it that we can access death care, but we can’t access a genuine treatment that can help us become a functioning healthy, taxpaying part of society?’ said Sheren. 

Sheren is CEO of Brass and Unity, a jewelry firm that works to fight high suicide rates among veterans.

Sheren had to hire lawyers, stump up cash and wait months to get the treatment she needed under a special program, she said. All the while, fellow veterans like her were offered MAiD as a way to end their suffering, she adds.

Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program has gone off the rails, she says. ‘We have a predatory behavior of telling individuals that they can’t heal, they can’t get better, and the solution to their problems is death,’ she told True North.

Veterans frequently complain about the shortcomings of state care, which typically involves talk therapy to help ‘wounded warrior’ PTSD sufferers, as well as drugs to fight anxiety and depression.

Restrictions on the drugs are increasingly called into question in a country where assisted suicides become routine.

“It is crazy that people who served our country are being offered death rather than treatment to live,” said Alex Schadenberg, from the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition.”

Not body positive: Obesity a cause of Bell’s Palsy?

Pushing a narrative that is a lie.

Progessives and the media today, in an effort to find more “victims,” like to promote “body positivity,” aka obesity. You can find “fat influencers” all over social media and there are plenty of reality-based tv shows about overweight people.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, “positive” about obesity. The consequences of being overweight include diabetes and high blood pressure, among many other diseases.

Do you know what else you may be subject to if you are obese ? Bell’s palsy. Studies have shown that being overweight and obesity are also associated with increased risk of Bell´s palsy in children.

Although there is no known cause of Bell’s Palsy, you have greater chance of having it if you have the following:

  • Diabetes
  • A respiratory infection, such as a cold or the flu
  • An autoimmune disease
  • High blood pressure
  • Obesity

In an effort to follow the victimhood trend, an advocate for “body positivity” who recently developed Bell’s Palsy is blaming the stress and anxiety of her national attention as the cause of her infliction.

She gave an update on Sunday night, sharing how the national attention has taken a toll on her health and left her afraid to be seen in public.

Sara wrote: ‘With my story blowing up the way it did I felt an immense amount of stress and anxiety. I didn’t even want to walk into a store or pump my gas because it just felt like the entire was talking about me.

‘Between that and preparing for a national pageant while just trying to be Sara… I ended up with a case of Bell’s Palsy. While there is no way to know for sure what caused it we feel certain that it was caused by the stress I have been experiencing.‘

Sara, who made national headlines with her win, added that not being able to fully smile has added to her mental plight. ‘My smile is something I’ve always been proud of. I love smiling at people because you never know if your smile is the only one they see today. Overall, I’m a very smiley person. I’ve even joked that I have a resting smile face.

‘Having this taken away from me has been a bit of a mental battle. But I’m happy to report mentally I have been feeling better and coming to terms with things!”

If you are going to put yourself on the national platform (such as a national beauty contest) and be active on social media as an “advocate for body positivity,” you’d best put on your big girl panties. And for the sake of your life, work to make them little girl panties.

And for the sake of little girls and young women, stop the false narrative of body positivity through obesity! Ask any doctor and they’ll tell you that there is nothing positive about obesity.
